please feel free to add me, as well. i need to lose about 100, too! i was down to 215, 25 from my goal weight and then gained it all back.
-
well, i'm a little bit older than you, and need to lose about 32 to reach my goal, but i'm always looking to support people in their journey. feel free to add me, if you like :)
-
definitely. but no more self-depreciating names :) love yourself. you are special and wonderful and worth caring about. send me a f/r and i'll accept :)

I stopped drinking pop. and they say if you do, you'll end up possibly losing as much as 60 pounds in a yr. that's what happened to me. you're not doing your body any favours by putting that in there.
-
definitely an inspiration to me! =D i know if you can do it, i can too. i'm 34 and still weigh more than i did in high school. i started out at 305, and am at 226.8 right now. i'd love to see 190!

you're right. but muscle is more densely compacted than fat.

be proud of every one of those. they will fade in time, but they will never really go away unless you go in and have a tummy tuck to remove the skin that they're on. but you'd be doing yourself a great disservice by having them removed. i have some from my kids and i wear each of them with pride and dignity.

whoever said tnot to buy into starvation mode needs to be smacked. hard. your body needs at least 1200 calories to sustain itself for one day. if you eat any less than that, yeah, sure you'll lose weight.. for a while.. but then your body will realize you're starving it, and it will hold onto every ounce of fat it can…
-
no it doesn't. but it affects your body's ability to filter water.. causing unnecessary water weight gain. it turns your body into a giant sponge! so very bad for your heart.

I know that when I hit a plateau, my Curves coach advises me to eat MORE. sounds like your metabolism has stalled on you. get some good fuel in you and get moving. you'll break through!
-
oh man, i LOVED these as a kid. i can't eat them anymore because they make my teeth hurt like you wouldn't believe. but boy, did i ever enjoy them when i could. actually got the kids some for easter.. the regular AND the caramel! :) i personally am going to enjoy a reese's peanut butter egg! :)

I've been with my husband since April 2004. Married to him since October 2005. It started out as a long-distance relationship, but I made the move to Oregon from Las Vegas, NV to be with him. it's not been sunshine and roses all the time, but he treats me a lot better than my ex-husband ever did. So I'll keep him. <3

Based on my body structure. A healthy weight, as far as BMI goes, for me, would be about 150. but I wouldn't look healthy at that weight because i have a larger bone structure than most people do. right now, mine is 180, but we'll see what i look like when i get there. i was 191 back in 2005 and looked pretty good there,…

My curves coach told me to never do this because you'll bottom out your blood sugar. it's a very bad idea.
-
be careful with the artificial sweeteners. they aren't processed by the body like real ones, so they can potentially be worse for you than regular stuff

I do Zumba in the Circuit at my Curves class. and my instructor says as long as you're moving and doing something, not necessarily the exact movies she's doing, it's fine. maybe look into your local curves and see if they offer it.

you look great! how did you lose it?
