Yes, but what's the point? You're already at a lean, healthy weight. There's no reason to get to the bare minimum because of an outdated scale like BMI.

Thanks friends! Would love to hear from more people :-D

Anyone else? :)

Thanks everyone!

Anybody else? :-D

I think it's kind of rude, frankly, to say I would be throwing my money away and I just need to learn willpower. I want to get a personal trainer so I can learn proper technique, get further motivation to work out, and get toned rather than just run on the treadmill and elliptical all the time. Not to say I think your…

Thanks ladies! Enjoying your messages! :)

I have the same problem. Hoping some more people post in this thread to get more ideas!

The Ninja, as in, the blender? Lol it's the devil....cut my finger so badly I had to go to the emergency room. Be careful. And I don't juice, I blend/make smoothies. Read my blog for ideas.

I don't back down. I stick to what I said, losing weight for a short term goal and not committing to a lifestyle change = failure in the end.
-
Don't get me wrong, I want to look good naked and have hot crazy monkey sex, too. BUT it's not my primary motivation to lose weight. The main goal is to be healthier and commit to a lifestyle change. I couldn't give a #$)# about anything else.

QUOTE: There's no wrong reason to lose weight if you're doing it in a healthy way to look and feel better. I really hate to see girls doing on silly 500 calorie diets starving themselves to fit into a certain wedding dress. Our neighbour lost a ton of weight for her wedding but told everyone that she was having some…

Um. I don't hate on "sluts" at a bar, and this is totally unrelated to that. My point is that there are wrong reasons to want to lose weight if it's not a long-term lifestyle change. Doing it for a short-term goal and that ALONE is not reasonable.

If appearance is your only concern in losing weight, you'll most likely end up a statistic who regains the weight in a year (or 5) and then some.

Online retail therapy. ;) Sex. Accomplishing something at work. Friends.

I had a scale phobia, too, but it gets easier. Now I can't get enough of the scale because I'm so eager to see the numbers drop. Hang in there. I get on the scale every morning after using the bathroom, nakey, before a shower.

Your ticker will update itself when you do your weigh ins. It does it automatically.

20 pounds in 3.5 weeks is a LOT of weight, probably more than is healthy to lose in such a short time frame, unless your morbidly obese and at the beginning of your diet. I would re-evaluate your goal. As much as I'd *like* to lose that much by NYE, I also realize it's not realistic. I'd like to just say I lose 10 in 3.5…

Exactly! Technically it is a diet because I restrict calories, but I'm also much more knowledgeable about my macronutrients and appropriate portion sizes. Before I was clueless and ate how much and basically whatever I wanted, within what I thought was reasonable. Well, clearly it wasn't reasonable because I gained 60…

I take some, all are from Whole Foods, including: -365 Women's Multivitamin -365 Fish Oil (for the omega-3 fatty acids) -365 Whey Protein (it's sugar-free, because I watch my sugar - I add it to green smoothies to boost my protein macro) Sometimes I also take psyllium husks for added fiber in my diet, but not every day. It…

Nice job, must feel great! The last time I was in Onederland was in January of this year and that was because I lost ten pounds after having a tonsillectomy. Then I gained it back and then some! I hope the next time I enter Onederland it will be for the rest of my life!!!

I always make green smoothies.

Dark chocolate is an acquired taste. Try weaning yourself off milk chocolate and gradually getting used to the dark stuff. Don't try something that is 85% at first, because you will HATE it. Work your way up to higher numbers rather than diving right in. I used to hate dark chocolate, too, but now when I try milk chocolate…
