I would start with body weight exercises. Push ups, planks, dips on a chair, squats, lunges etc. Once you get comfortable with it, perhaps buy some dumbells. You can gain a lot of traction with body weight exercises. Look for Fitness Blender on You Tube. Lots of good workouts to do at home.

I only have an 8 hour shift, but I work out BEFORE. Then it's done and you don't have to rationalize reasons for not doing it. It's hard to rationalize at 4:45am.

I use mine for nearly everything. Bacon is a must on it as it's so much cleaner without all of that grease everywhere! If you use a meat thermometer on chicken it won't dry out. Wow! It sounds like you're surrounded by crappy people! It's easy to say IGNORE THEM! But it's hard to do. I would suggest finding more positive people to surround you. You don't need that negativity in your life what you're making such wonderful progress!

I've just recently started trail running in the woods. It's an absolute BLAST! All the hills, twists, turns and roots/logs to jump over - makes the time go by in a wink. I'm always like...."What? Done already?" It's weird, I can run (some walking) in the woods for an hour, but put me on a treadmill and I want to kill…
