I run and have done many 5ks, 10ks, a half and a full marathon, but am definitely not what you might consider competitive-- I run slowly and I know it! But if you were wanting to tie some kind of running challenge in, I'd be down for it!

I'm Kelly. Weighed in this morning 2 pounds down from last week, at 186.5. We can do this, 2 pounds at a time.

I am definitely in!! I normally do my weigh-ins Mondays anyway, and this is an aggressive, but doable, goal. Our heights and goals are exactly the same. Thanks for the idea!

It struck me today that we are almost to the end! It has really flown by, and I've actually enjoyed it! Don't get me wrong, I'm totally gonna have a glass of wine on February 1st, but I'm so happy (and kind of proud of me!) that we've done this for a whole month!

I'm trying to do the same thing...lost 50 and gained back 20. I'm turning it around again, it makes me sick to think about how hard I worked before, don't want it all to go to waste.

I've been doing this already, but just saw this thread! Would enjoy the help for the next 18 days or so! It is really working, have lost 6 pounds by staying under calories every day, always feeling good enough to wake up for the gym at 5:30am, and saving money too!

I would ask your doctor for the right calorie count for you, then still use MFP to track it. You don't know if what MFP uses for "maintain" calories necessarily means "maintain while growing another person inside you" calories. Congrats on the pregnancy!

Just did Level 1, Day 1! It was hard, but I liked it! Makes me realize that all the running I've been doing definitely doesn't cover everything!

I looked up the PB2 on the manufacturer's website and you can search by your area to find stores in your area that carry it. I am planning on getting some this weekend after all the positive comments. Going to also try your method on the homemade natural PB!

I'm same height and about 2 lbs lesst, add me if you want! I am thinking 150-160 as my goal, but could really use some help staying accountable and keeping my motivation to finish getting there!

I like making stuffed peppers with quinoa and whatever veggies I have in the fridge, soy-crumbles, some form of tomato sauce, mix them all together, add a little parmesan and bake them til the peppers are done. Yum yum!:smile:

What part of the store do you find this PB2 stuff in? People always talk about it, but I've never seen it or heard of it before MFP. And what kind of ways do you use it? What scary chemicals does it have?

I was a vegan for 6 months, been a lacto-ovo vegetarian the last 12 yrs or so. Veganism is great, but a HUGE step. Changes everything about how you eat. Think hard on it, it isn't going to necessarily help the belly.

You do NOT necessarily have to get on Metformin, I am not and doing just fine losing weight. Exercising and keeping a good diet, lowering those processed carbs will help you. And it won't be nasty either, it will be exactly what you make of it! Good luck!

I have PCOS and I've lost 40 pounds (some before starting on MFP). It was hard at first, but I've stuck with it. Now it is slow and steady, but happening! You can do it, just keep trying. I also seem to have more success when I'm eating more things that keep my insulin at steady levels.

Fage is definitely my fave! Today I puréed frozen cherries and Fage 0% plain in my food processor, added a tsp. of sugar, split into 2 little cups, and just let it freeze for about 20 minutes while I hopped in the shower. Great sweet afternoon snack after a workout, about 100 cals.! So good!

My best friend and I went back and calculated how many drinks we have probably had together in the last 10 years or so, living together and partying, going out to bars with our friends and just on random nights on the porch... And the estimate we came up with for the calories literally made me feel sick to my stomach.…

I guess you'll just have to log it the old-fashioned way! Write it down and put it in your phone later. You know what kind of stuff you "should" eat, so just do your best and don't worry. One weekend isn't going to break you. I'd be more worried about having to put up with my boyfriend's mom for a weekend! Haha :wink:

Just plain Greek yogurt and ranch powder? Is it really good? I'm getting totally sick of bringing hummus to EVERY party just so I'll have something decent to eat.
