I'm loving strong lifts. Although I can tell when I don't get enough calories by my milk supply drop and my lifting weight stalls. I tend to eat more on the weekend and not lift. So when I pump on Mondays I get the most ounces than and always lift more.

Sometimes nothing. My workouts are on my lunch hour. Depending on the day I might be IF (or just BPC) until after my workout. Soooo...since February I'm up to 20 push ups, 82lb bench and 3 pull ups...that's huge for me. This thread inspired me to work on pull ups. Thanks ladies!! Anyone else with improvements??

So I've only worn compression sleeve for my long runs. Which is once a week. I feel so far that they are helping during the run and after during recovery. I've yet to use them during lifting but I might try it this week as I increase my weight.

I actually try to have delayed onset muscle soreness. It means I continue to push and strengthen my muscles. With rest days between working muscle groups. I've heard a lot of good things about cross fit.

Not actual cross fit but I workout 5 days a week. Heavy lifting, running and my new favorite battle rope. I can tell the days i need a little more carbs because I run out of steam in the gym. From my own experience I don't "make up" the protein I didn't eat the day before, but if I'm significantly over my protein macros one day then I try to cut back a bit the next day. BUT ymmv

@kimbo8435 what a sweet success. I almosted teared up reading that. My daughter (2.5 years old) is stretching and doing sit ups and push ups with me on weekends. And then my 1 year old joins in on the fun by climbing on me during workouts. I love that my family gets involved with my attempts to get healthy.

I can't control sweets. I'll eat 3 days worth of calories in one shot.....primarily chocolate. On keto I don't have that problem. 31 year old, mother of two. Started keto again two weeks ago. Weight training 4 to 5 days a week. I was on keto for 5 months and felt awesome and looked awesome. Fried eggs, sprinkled with nutritional yeast and bullet proof coffee (my version is Kerry gold butter, hwc, coconut oil and iodine supplement ). Lunch was baby romaine salad, ham, cheese and ranch. I'm 6 months pp with my second. I have lost 27 pounds by changing my diet. Basically what supersocks117 is doing. I cut bad carbs and sugar. I stay above 1800 calories and drink tons of water. My supply is going strong. There is a breastfeeding support group on here too.
