• bump. thanks
• I finished C25K sometime ago but am maintaining my 5K runs at least3x/week. I lost 10-12lbs. However, I also did Jillian Michael's shred workout during around wk 7. And yes, I first noticed the changes when I put on my clothes. The muscles started getting more defined when I did the shred. Since I am now just maintaining…
• HI sabrinam85! Welcome to shredding. I do shred and 5K runs - 3x week. I am now on L3D3 and l still like it. With regard to calories, I just eat what I can. When I first started with MFP it was hard to stay within but now that I've been on for a while - I find it hard to get to my calorie limit. So, I just let it be. As…
• thanks, yum....bump!
• Great job! Congratulations! It takes commitment to do what you have accomplished. I like what you said about having a bad day and NOT making it the end of your journey. Moving forward is what counts. Again, congratulations! May you enjoy your healthier YOU :flowerforyou:

• I have no recipes right now but thanks to all the contributors. Bumpy-bump!!!
• I am now on L2D13 Shred. I only do it 3x/week together with 5K runs which I did with the help of C25K (9-week) program. As for nutrition, I keep with within my daily calories and if able...also eat my exercise calories. The losses below are the result of both diet & exercise. The inches I've lost are: neck - .5inches…
• Shred L2D12 (I think?!?!?) I lost count. My endurance has improved and depends on how my week goes am actually not tired or breathless. I still do my C25K - 3x/week. My arms are showing definition now  Am now thinking if I have the time to do the gateway to8K. For shred, probably in a week or two - I'll move on to…
• I don't think Jillian will yell or kill you at the moment. Our health is important. So take a breather and relax. You don't want any added anxiety before a clinical procedure. Anyways, I am sending out my prayers for your speedy recovery. Make sure to follow all the post- procedure orders. It is there to keep you safe…
• Welcome back! looking forward to hearing about your workouts.
• Sorry to hear about your pain, hoosier. I kind of felt that twinge when I went to do my I run after doing L2D1 a few weeks ago. It's gone now, but at hat time, I attributed it to me not sleeping on my own bed and the normal soreness from doing a new exercise. Your pain however, seems to be different. Did your Dr say how…
• L2D4...done. C25K - graduate! woohoo!!!:drinker: didn`t do much shredding during my holidays...no space to do all the moves in a hotel room but I`m back home and definitely looking forward to my sweating sessions with Jillian  how about the rest of you??? hope everyone's still working out.
• BUMP!!! wow!!! definitely going to give this a try before summer's over
• I ask the same thing and someone suggested to enter it as circuit training.
• Hi skywalker! Glad you're still with us...I was beginning to wonder where you were but I'm glad that you've been busy training. @wmchick - thanks for all the info. I will definitely look into this when I find a nugget of time to do so. For today I just had the shock of my life. Johnny Rockets Tuna Melt has 750calories oh…
• @wm: yeah, my HR also jumps to 160+ when I'm running. I haven't played with the FT7 enough to figure out how to set up my target HR. I don't know how the FT7 analyzes the data to determine fat vs fitness burn times. When I'm back home maybe I'll read up on it. Whatever input you give me will be greatly appreciated. When…
• Sending out pats on the back to wmchick and hoosier....you're both doing well and hoosier L3 WOW!!!! that's awesome. And to @wm...doing each cycle for 2 weeks on C25K is a good idea. I think it will give the body a chance to adapt to it. BTW, I am not sure if I mentioned it on this thread but I want to let you…
• @cln714 - I'm on vacation but still gladly doing C25K even with the challenges of odd schedules. I am now on C25K W8D2 and on Shred L2D2. Just like you said, the FT7 has been wonderful. I like the data part of it. I can't believe that I burned more fat doing Shred than running. However, I still like running since I'm…
• Shred L2D1, C25K W8D1, done.....I'm trying quite hard to maintain my workout days. I am on vacation and it's a bit of a challenge to find that chunk of time. With no schedules, even my diet is off track. I am still trying to keep within my calories but it's harder due to the fact that I eat at odd hours. Oh well, I'll do…
• [
Good luck with the C25k. I got up to week 7 and then I slacked of a couple of weeks. Now I'm back to week 5. :P I rewarded myself with the Polar FT7 after week 2. lol You're going to love it!!!!
] @cln... - Hopefully, I'll keep going. I'll let you know how my workouts will be this next 2 weeks. As for the…
• My routine at the "gym" in reality it's the park/home:happy: I do my Couch to 5K program at the park, then do Shred at home for 20 mins. I just finished week 7 of the C25K program (25mins) of non-stop running and 10mins for pre/post run walk. Based on the exercise tracker here, I burn about 390-400cals for these workouts.…
• @wmchick - you can always modify C25K. The bottom line of course is just to get off the couch  pretty soon, you'll be surprised on how far you can go without stopping. Personally, there are still days when I feel stronger. I guess it depends on what I did theday before or how late I slept the night before. But, yes,…
• Well, this is not a phone call but if it helps - so be it!!!! :explode: "GET THAT BODY TO THE GYM! MOVE IT OR LET THE FAT STAY IN YOU" :explode: And when you do finish your workout :flowerforyou: give yourself a pat on the back
• @wmchick - yeah! we do have a similar workout. Also, I'm glad you're feeling better. I have to tell you - this week 7 of C25K is a challenge. But, I do feel the difference in endurance because now I could really push myself without feeling like I'm going to pass out  Now I just know that I'm a bit tired but can still…
• L1D5, done. C25K W7D2, done. Feeling really good about this.
• L1D4, done. C25K W7D1, done.....finally making it through the strength stuff with the shred. Still planning to do L1 in 10days but we'll see by the end of the week. Maybe I'll move to L2 sooner:drinker: @countrygirlsoul- welcome back to shredding
• yes! L1D3 completed...C25K 25mins continous run completed, too. I am satisfied & happy. Going on to week 7 C25K & L1D4 on Sunday. @Ladybugs - I found that drinking lots of water lessens the muscle soreness. I read that somewhere in these posts. It has helped me. Definitely! @wmchick - hope you feel better. just pick up…
• Ok, I'll log it as circuit training then. Also, maybe I'll move on to L2-L3 depending on how easy L1 becomes. Jillian says we should feel the stress BUT NOT pain in the body.....until tomorrow's shred & run!
