Hey Suzanne, I'm not a professional, but wanted to let you know what worked for me. You may need to eat more calories per day. How many calories are you eating daily? Hi everyone! I started April 16th at 262 pounds. Today I am 255 pounds. Went up a pound from last week, but hey, it was my birthday over the weekend.....too much good food and drinks. :drinker: :happy: I'm back on track again this week.:smile:

Hi Carrie6o6, I think you should be using just your ab muscles and lower back when crunching up. Your head and neck are pretty much straight and 'along for the ride" I have a bad neck and my trainer has me hold onto a towel that is behind my neck. It really helped.

Morning! Today I walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes at 2.5 miles/hour, then did the Elliptical machine for 47 minutes. It was hard getting my old bones out of bed at 3:30am this morning, but I glad I did. I always feel great after working out and it really gets my day started on a good note! :smile:

I've been in a total hurry the past couple of days so haven't had a chance to get to the gym. I'm hoping to go back tomorrow morning. I took my son and his friend fishing at the end of the HB pier yesterday, from walking to my car, to the end of the pier and back to my car, I think I got about a mile's walk in. :smile:

Yea Niccole, I'm glad you are back on line! I can relate regarding using this site. I have been using this site for a couple weeks and I can't believe how much I rely on it to keep me on track. My alarm didn't go off this morning, so no workout for me on Thursday. :o( Actually, I use my phone for my alarm, and when it went off, instead of hitting "Snooze" like I usually do, I turned my phone completely off! I must of really been out of it yesterday.:ohwell: mamatusa

Okay....today was hard! I had it already set in my mind that when I got to the gym I was going to head to the ladies locker room and weigh myself. Would you know it, the locker room was closed for cleaning. I think someone was looking out for me today. :smile:

I'm in! I am also in the Thanksgiving Challenge and my goal for for that challenge is 5 pounds. I'll keep the Christmas challenge at the same goal, five pounds. Thank you so much for the challenges, they really keep me on track :o)
