  • Thanks for sharing & well done.
  • Well done had the exact same problem for 3 months but think I may have cracked it too. What is it with weight & 3 months????
  • Well done, keep up the good work & remember it is not always about what the scales say. :flowerforyou:
  • Congratulations you look absolutely gorgeous...take care you don't get pregnancy weight again looking like that will be sooo tempting LOL!!!!!! You are a great inspiration thanks so much for sharing.
  • Usually I grill them!
  • Thrilled to hear your news, very well done & enjoy your new lease of life to the full. Congratulations.
  • I am so sorry to hear this & from what you have said there is little doubt that yo have an eating disorder which needs professional help. Please, please see a doctor to get the help you need before you harm your health. Good luck & happy Xmas & 2011.
  • Crumbs 5'10" & 186lbs sounds perfect to me so sounds to me as if you & hubby are right that you have a pretty everything!!!! I have always had curves , I am a woman & I want curves. One time due to stress I lost my curves & everyone said how ill I looked. I will be 60 in March & looking at my face since losing the weight…
  • I have had a very similar situation. If you look at other methods & the one I find works best is the low GI diet , you should have about 1400 calories per day even on days you work out. I am a great fan of Rosemary Conley, here in UK & following her scheme has worked for me when others did not.Like you I feel I weigh heavy…
  • Nearly there, can't weight cos then my goal will be in view. Happy Xmas.
  • Well done isn't it a great feeling?
  • Hello Jessica & welcome. We share a few things i common: English but I lived in Naples, Italy for 10 years & I have a level of disability too. Funnily enough I found it easy to keep weigh off in Italy due to so many lovely tasty vegetables & fruit so I just know you will be successful & my friend on here loses faster than…
  • Well I am the same & we weigh the same although I do not want to lose quite so much over all now.It doesn't work so well for me & health , age etc prevents lots of activities so my workouts are all in deep water, usually 3 times per week. You can do this because I could when I was younger but now, despite staying on track…
  • Thanks for that as with many "weight loss" products it is a real laugh.
  • Good luck on your journey & well done on loss so far. Do not get discouraged at any blips beacuse they do right themselves if you continue to eat healthily.
  • Not necessarily, try shaking it up a bit;maybe eat more calories for a few days, try eating little & often to boost metabolic rate.
  • Lucky you! Takes me a week to lose 1lb. It is probably water weight & people (not me) often lose more at the beginning. As long as you are eating 1200 calories per day it should be ok unless you regularly do loads of strenuous activity; even then my doctor says 1200 is ok if you need to lose weight. If you are so worried…
  • I am no expert but have had the exact same problem but am finally losing at the rate of just over 1lb every week. What I did was stop punishing myself with 5 workouts per week & dropped it to 2 or 3 that way my muscles have the chance to let go of the water they hang on to after workouts. The next thing I did was follow a…
  • I had the exact same thing for 3 months & then I started eating my 1200 calories but divided between 3 meals & 2 snacks, so little & often really. I have now found if I shake things up it seems to shock my system into losing weight. In fact now I exercise LESS but try to stay more active with daily tasks & that way I don'…
  • I always used to gain 10 lbs at that time of the month & my daughter does too.
  • I feel your pain, my father was diagnosed as terminally ill 12 months ago with a prognosis of 6 months but he is still going strong. My brother in law has had cancer twice & is currently very healthy & looks great so think positive thoughts. Colon cancer is a very treatable one & think what motivation it will give your…

  • No idea why but same happened to me for 3 months!!! Now usually 1lb or more loss each week , still very slow but a loss is a loss.
  • Just to echo what everyone else has said, has happened to me after every surgery & I have had a few, just eat healthily all will be well & speedy recovery.
  • Happy to help. Lots of good people here, you can do it.
  • I am nearly 60 & had a very slow & rocky start gaining & losing the same 4lbs for nearly 3 months but at last slowly but surely it is working & even though my only exercise is in a deep pool due to health problems I am toning up . Today, with almost 2 stone to go I had to buy UK size 12 jeans & am so thrilled. Stick with…
  • Due to health issues swimming or deep water exercise is the only type of exercise I can do. I can't walk for very long so imagine what trying to run would do for me! I have been swimming regularly during recovery from back surgery & have been trying to lose weight since June. My journey is slow but I spend an hour in the…
  • Mine is usually 2 to 4 lbs but has occasionally been a 10lb difference!!!! Makes knowing my real weight difficult at times which is a reason my weigh day changes often!
  • Other posts are probably more qualified than mine but nevertheless I want to offer my support because the same thing happened to me, then eventually I kept losing & gaining the same few pounds. At last after months I took the advice seen here to EAT MORE &, more importantly I think to eat often. Now my loss is slow,…
  • Congratulations on making such a great choice & the first step to a healthier you for life. Plenty of help here & feel free to add me for support. You can do this, in your own time & feel very happy & proud of yourself, not to mention healthy.
  • Glad you had fun Sue. I still seem to be battling some bug on & off, is the weirdest thing & one day this week, when I felt really rough looked as if I had gained 10lbs!!!! In the event lost some by today, go figure.I seem to lose more after a glass or two...lucky me!!! LOL! Am so excited if all goes well by next week will…
