You may add me as well. In 2008 I started out at 281 and got down 203 pounds. I was injured and gained some back but still have a few pounds to lose. My goal is 170 pounds - I am 5'11 - female. I work out 6 days a week for 1-2 hours a day burning around 500-700 calories a day.

Is that 1200 calories the Net calories or total calories? I would say to start off with if you are exercising and only eating 1200 calories that you probably are not eating enough calories. Going below 1200 calories is not healthy as your body needs calories to function on a daily basis. If that 1200 calories is your total…

That information is correct; your body will think it is not getting enough nutrients and will then start 'holding on to it'. The scales can be very evil sometimes. I weigh every 30 days and take measurements in place of weighing often. The way your clothes fit will often be better results than what the scale says.
