I don't have any pics to post, other than the one on my profile. But I am down 57 lbs. and I do at least 30 min. of some exercise EVERY day--mostly walking. On rainy/cold days, I do Wii country dance. I did do aerobics 3 times a week for 10 weeks when I first changed my lifestyle in January.

It's day 251 for me. I like the fact that I have stuck with this program for 9 months and still going!

all I can say is I quit drinking soda in October of last year. And I have lost 57 pounds since January. And I don't miss it at all.

If you work all day like I do, a crockpot is priceless!! I can put dinner in before I leave for work and it is ready when I get home. And it is a healthy way to cook! My current favorite: 2 frozen smoked pork chops 2 raw sweet potatoes--cut in quarters Cook on low 8-10 hrs!

it has to come from inside you. But, MFP is a great tool to keep you motivated. Go look as success stories and try to find one close to your situation. Don't give up!

I have not done any running. I have lost 57 lbs. watching my calories, eating healthy, no pop, and mainly walking. I did aerobics 3 days a week for 10 weeks last winter though.

It is windy here, and as I got out of my car downtown, a neighbor lady was across the street watching me. She said, quote: "I am just watching to see if you blow away, you are getting so small!" I NEVER though anyone would say that about me :):bigsmile:

You CAN do it or you wouldn;t be on here!. My advice--GET MOVING! get all the exercise in that you can, walk, walk, walk!

I eat 5 times a day--at generally the same time everyday. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner. Works for me, anyway.

slow and steady is the right way to do this! And it is getting slower the lower I get, but I am happy, and if I don't gain, it is a good thing!

I have only lost 50 pounds, but.... I lowered my cholesterol 42 points, and don't take medicine anymore. I don't drink soda. EVER. I feel like I HAVE to exercise everyday.
