  • @ Supersourbubb: The reason for only doing the DVD 5-6 days per week is that your muscles need time to recover, and if you do the DVD 7 days per week it could possibly hinder your body's progress. I'm not an expert, but I don't think that means you can't do ANY physical activity on your days off -- maybe just change it up,…
  • I did day 1 yesterday, and it was a little challenging for me! (I only did about half of the 30DS). I was very sad to see that side-lunge anterior lift move, which I hated in the 30DS. It's come back to haunt me! LOL.

  • I think with burning over 600 calories, you can definitely feel free to skip the shred on those days. Plus, you don't wanna exhaust yourself! :)

  • I agree, this group is awesome! I've never stuck to a workout plan, but with this group I have so much more motivation to do it, and I know I'll be successful. As for taking Sundays off, I'm thinking about doing that as well. Haven't decided for sure yet.

  • I was just browsing through the workout DVDs at Walmart yesterday, wondering what I would do after the 30DS. This sounds like a great plan, count me in!
  • 3 pounds for me! I plan on moving up to 5 pounds on day 5, but I'll probably have to switch back to 3's for that side lunge/arm raise move! Ouch! haha
  • I tried it today with Pandora's "Pop and Hip Hop Power Workout" station, and it was so much better than listening to Jillian!! I had already pretty much memorized all her dialogue, I didn't need to hear it anymore, LOL. The music made it more fun!
  • I'm the same way, I don't like my husband watching me work out, especially if I'm doing Zumba, because I know I look crazy! Hahahaha.
  • Same here! The lunge doesn't bother me, it's the arm raise that's killer! I could do tons of bicep curls, but those anterior raises work a different part of the arm I guess, and it HURTS! I usually end up putting my arms down for 1 or 2 sets, but I'm working on being able to get through the whole exercise. Baby steps! Lol.
  • I went to the Rose Bowl on Jan. 2nd and was gone ALLLL day long, so I started on the 3rd and am a day behind everyone, but that's okay! I'm doing it! Finished day 3 today, and I think I'll be ready to move to heavier weights soon! :-)
