  • Banana with shredded coconut and a bit of cocoa powder. The banana sweetens up the cocoa powder and its super yummy
  • Way to go. Id be thrilled to run 20 min straight and that time is really good. :)
  • We have a wellness plan at work and there are the main insurance rates and then if you are a nonsmoker then you get a discount and also if you do the wellness which has yearly requirements you have to meet. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Either getting charged more to not participate and smoke or being rewarded…
  • The last 5k I did (34yrs old) and I thought I was doing really well since I was beating my previous times. . .until an 80+ lady easily blew by me. She was the top in her age bracket and did it better than probably 75% of us. I feel ya, but extremely impressed with someone still moving like that when I struggle at my age lol
  • I love love love the chocolate kind...especially on sliced bananas!

  • start blanching them and freezing them-I don't remember exact times, but put em in boiling water for a few then put them in ice water to stop the cooking process-then just drain and put in freezer bags-pull them out when you need them in a recipe or whatnot. I like beans with redskin potatoes and a little bit of ham or…
  • Ok. I don't think I have seen the 600 calorie each cookie...I could be in serious trouble if I was introduced to it though! Seriously though-best of luck to you!
  • I am having the same exact problem-been stuck at the same weight for 4 months despite upping my workouts to between 1-2 hours a day 6-7 days a week, watching what I eat. Tried lowering calories, upping calories, doing different exercises to keep my body guessing...I was diagnosed in November and haven't been feeling well…
  • It depended on which disk it was...I did Circuit training for the ones that were more weights and Aerobics for the ones that were more physical. Not sure myself so I would love to hear what others used.
  • Thyroid issues will cause that too...I started feeling like the worlds biggest slug and it lasted months til I got tested and found out that it was REALLY off. Within a week of starting meds I almost felt human again!
  • Tae Bo is great...I got the weighted resistance bands with its Boot Camp Elite combo set...those give you one heck of a workout! Zumba is great too. I also found Supreme 90 Day at the Dollar Store in the As seen on TV section-it has 10 disks and is kind of the cheap version of P90X for 20.00
  • I am around 180 and I borrow it occasionally from a friend-It is definately a kick butt workout! You can definatley do it-Shawn T is always saying to push yourself, but don't do anything so it hurts yourself. He even makes the people in the video take breaks if their form is getting bad because they are tired-just go at…
  • Just be careful to read up on the type of pressure treated wood that you are using first-some have bad chemicals that can seep into your garden/plants. I have raised beds and I started with 3 and am up to 6 now-makes gardening so much easier!
  • I do Trader Joes and Ezekiel and love them both-regular bread tastes so weird to me now! Most places you can purchase it in the frozen section and I usually just take off whatever I need for the day in the morning-it thaws fast or you can put it straight in the toaster frozen and it toasts perfectly.
  • definately redo week 4...recovery week is not quite as bad as the rest of the workouts but still challenging...but what you are about to next....you may want to work up to again if you have been sick!
  • I just stumbled on that this morning too and wondered the same thing-I had checked my Subway Flatbread on their site for nutrition info first-when I entered it on here using one that was already entered with the same exact thing I had gotten the MFP info was more than 100 calories less than Subways info...while I would…
  • Insanity is definately just that...but you do feel very proud of yourself when you get done every day...along with needing a major shower-lol...even the people on the dvd take breaks and look like they are going to die...so it doesn't make you feel too bad when you have to-he even tells you take a break if you need it…
  • Most grocery stores (I got mine at Walmart) have a microwave omelette maker for under 5 bucks...I love mine. Just put the eggs in (no sprays/butter) required after you mix them and nuke for a few minutes. I add my veggies in with my egg mix and they are usually perfect when they come out. Its one of my must haves...I…
  • If I could just get the fat to jump off my gut and move back up north to the boobs where it all came off of when I lost the weight it wouldn't be so bad! :)
  • You better believe I am about to log my 20 minutes of Insanity that I just did...didn't have time for the whole 40...but Im a hot mess all the same-lol
  • I scramble 2 eggs the night before and sautee some spinach in a little olive oil with minced garlic, diced peppers, and green onions. I just toss it together in a container and throw it in the microwave and have it with ezekiel toast. Its good with just egg whites too.
  • sautee spinach peppers and onions and put it in your eggs in the morning...really good! There is a really good Strawberry Spinach salad from Pampered Chef also...I don't remember the exact ingredient measurements but its spinach with strawberries sliced on it and sliced almonds then the vinagarette is made from lemon zest,…
  • Yeah! I get passed by snails too =)...but at least you are doing it! Congrats!
  • Im by no means a runner myself...so I feel your pain. I have completed 2 5k races...speed walking and all at right around 45 minutes. I am just starting to try running myself-I will admit I run like a turtle, but my goal is to be able to at least jog my next one this summer and shave a few minutes off my time. I have been…
  • Im no expert..but the list looks very close to what I read to eat in a Clean Eating book. The book stated that you didn't even need to count calories if you cut all processed foods and sugars from your diet and stuck to the list-there is a formula of what percentages of each to eat in a meal and how many meals to eat a…
  • I take a multivitamin that makes mine turn lime green...it amuses me for some odd reason-lol
  • have it checked again...mine was fine at a checkup earlier in the year and i started feeling horrible about 6 months ago...got diagnosed about 2 months ago...it can happen pretty quickly. If it comes back ok again maybe check into a vitamin deficiency????
  • My favorite....2 egg white omlette with spinach, green onions, a little cheddar cheese and hot sauce with ezekiel toast...I have had it almost every day for a month now-lol
  • Very much possible especially if you have eaten something high in sodium. I try to stay away from it as much as possible, but I know if I have something with lots of sodium I can expect about +5 the next day.
  • If it makes you feel any better I have naturally curly hair...and I pull it up into a ponytail to work out-I sweat so bad my hair starts to frizz all over my head even in the ponytail-I come out looking like a lion on the top and sides with a ponytail coming out the back...trust me that its not cute-lol
