My daughter is 6 and she is in after-school program as well, so I pack a loaded lunchbox so she has snacks for all day if she wants them. 1 banana, 1 TBS natural PB, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 cup almond milk (or "milk" of your choice), a few ice cubes.... blend blend blend... Like a Reeses PB Cup without the guilt, and I find it very satisfying! Too bad I ran out of chocolate protein powder, I'd be sucking one of these down right now LOL!!

cucumbers, peppers, mini pretzels, Triscuit Minis... Pita chips when I don't care about calories ;) spread it on whole grain bread and top with veggies - cukes, peppers, tomato, lettuce etc - for sammiches if you like spicy, diced jalepenos in the hummus makes an even more awesome dip!

I love the Triscuit Minis - 28 crackers = 130 calories, 4 g of fiber! I use them for dips, as croutons on my salad, have with a piece of string cheese. I usually take 14 minis, a string cheese, and a low-sodium V8 for my mid-morning work snack!

Here's the nutritional breakdown on the Chunky Monkey: Calories 375 Carbs 34 g Fat 22g Protein 35 grams I also make a lot of protein shakes using berries and skipping PB, the fat content of course is much lower, but sometimes it is not quite as filling, and I want some healthy fats in the course of my day.
