I ride my bike to work May - Oct. I live in Nebraska and the winters get rather nasty. It is 2.5 miles from my house to the office. When it is warm and humid in the mornings I just ride slower. I have a Trek 7200 that I bought in 2008, and have logged about 3,000 miles on it.

It is always good to see a team effort. My wife and I are using MFP and adhering to the "Younger Next Year" lifestyle plan. Having her as my partner is great. Congrats to the both of you, individuality and together!

I ride a Trek 7200 Hybrid. I have had it for four years and have logged about 3,000 miles. I use it mainly for my commute to work, but also began to do recreational riding this year.

I am 57 and just started running in January of this year. I would advise seeing your doctor first. The C25K program worked for me.

I was never a runner. I just finished the C25K program last week and it is very doable. Just keep going. doesn't matter if you are setting speed records or not. I am now working on High Intensity Interval Training(HIIT) in preparing for my summer races. I am 57 years old and haven't been in this good of shape for years.

I finshed C25K last Saturday and I will say that it is possible. just take it one step at a time and keep moving forward. It took me 11 weeks to complete it but i did not give up because of the encouragement of other MFP participants.

Keep going. I am on Week 8 and am running 5k. This is byfar the farthest I have ever run and it feels so good. When I was at week three I thought too that it was impossible. But it is possible.

Completed Week 8, Day 1 today. Just follow the program and your endurance and calorie burn will increase.
