Okay, so I feel like a loser posting actual advice on this thread when perhaps I should be making a joke....but...agree on which legs you are going to start with and then get a beat going by actually counting out loud, (one, two, one, two, etc). (The previous serious posters advice about running with someone of similar…

My favorite old school video game? It was called Crystal Castles and I used to bike to the arcade to play it! (back in the 80s) At home, we had an Intellivision system (loved to play auto racing, tennis, and snafu on it!) :-)

We are a camping family and my advice is like a previous posters, everything in moderation. We don't hold back, as cooking is one of my husbands favorite things to do when we camp. Steaks/potatoes, pancakes/bacon, brats, fajitas, eggs, etc. etc. Do I load up on everything? Absolutely not! Love eating all that nummy stuff…

Sounds like compromise is in order. And it also sounds like your husband may be a tad jealous of your success. (It probably tooK you awhile to get truly motivated & serious about weight loss--most likely it will be the same for your husband) Maybe work out a schedule (you go at night some times, he goes at other) and just…

You city slickers have fun! :-) (I am too far north to even think about a meet-up), I love Good Earth though! I just looked up the Duluth Grill's menu after reading previous posts! I am going to certainly go there the next time I am in Duluth.

No, you are not an idiot. If the friendship meant a lot to you, I say go for it. The worst thing that can happen is that things don't work; can't say that you didn't try. I reached out to a friend who I was best friends with in elem & middle school (we went out seperate ways in HS for various reasons) after college, and…

Hello there. My name is Stephanie. I am 41 with 2 girls, 13 & 11. Married for 19 years. I have been a yo-yoer between 165-135 since about the age of 30. I am just 5'4" and really should be around 135-140. (That is when I think I look the best). According to BMI charts my "ideal" weight is 111-140. But I think I would look…

we had friends over for dinner the other day,and I tried two new things (both very simple). 1) Just mixing halved grape tomatoes, mozzarella pearls, chopped red onion, and diced basil, drizzled with olive oil. (I drizzled some balsamic also, but some folks don't like that--). 2) I made my own chips by cutting corn…

I would love friends who are in my age range (women in their 40s) but anyone who could offer support would be great! I will do my very best to reciprocate!
