I have the Foo Fighters greatest hits downloaded as well as their new album, I turned it all into one playlist. I love it. I also have another playlist with exericse tunes, but I got kind of bored of it. I do find myself playing air drums while I am running though, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
  • Rihanna - Shut Up and Drive
  • Party Rock Anthym - LMFAO; S&M - Rhianna; If We Ever Meet Again - Timbaland ft Katy Perry; Like A G6 - Far East Movement; Born This Way - Lady Gaga....those are just a few that get me moving. I try to find songs with a real upbeat tempo...hope this helps some. :)

I don't know what kind of music you listen to but I have AC/DC "Money Talks", Def Leppard "Pour Some Sugar on Me", the intro to "Paradice City" by Guns-N-Roses, "Kiss" by Prince, Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins "Hillbilly Bone", Meradith Brooks "*****", and Eminem "Lose Yourself" on one of my playlists. It is a very wide array of music but they all get me moving :) Good luck with your weight loss journey.
  • This is my workout playlist:
Shut up and let me go Tings Tings
Right Here Right Now Fatboy Slim
Little of Your Time Maroon 5
    Harder to Breathe Maroon 5
Potential Breakup Song Ally and AJ
    Master Exploder Tenacious D
    Telephone Lady Gaga
    Pump it Black Eyed Peas
    Blitzkreig Bop Ramones
Boom Boom Pow Black Eyed Peas
    Magic B.O.B.
    Roll to Me Del Amitri
    Your Surrender Neon Trees
    Paparazzi Lady Gaga

145-160 BPM except for Ting Tings which is what I warm up to.

    Action Radar - The Prodigy
    Tarantula - Pendulum

These are probably my favorites! Really upbeat and they get you going!
  • I always listen to something with a good beat, it gets me going! I usually listen to remixes, mash-ups, electronic/dance music, and even some of those cheesy 80's songs.

    Good luck!

Depends what kind of music you like but here's what I would suggest:

Foo Fighters - "Wasting Light" (entire album)
Neon Trees - "Habits" (entire album)
Young the Giant - "My Body
The Killers - "Somebody Told Me"
Motley Crue - "Kickstart my Heart" and "Same ole situation"
Maroon 5 - "Moves like Jagger"
    Marianas Trench - "Celebrity Status"
    Metric = "Gimme Sympathy"
Mumford & Sons - "The Cave"
New Found Glory - "My friends over you"
Guns N Roses - "Welcome to the Jungle"
Guns N Roses - "You Could be Mine"
    Foo Fighters - "Monkey Wrench"

Music is a MAJOR motivator for me. I can't even think about getting on the elliptical, walking or jogging without it. This is a big list that I wrote up for some friends a while ago and it's all in no particular order. Mostly cheesy, guilty pleasures, some slower, some faster depending on my mood. Most of it is nothing new but it's what gets me movin. Hope it helps.

    In My Heart - Moby
Have You Ever - Brandi Carlisle
    Jolene - Dolly Parton
    Disturbia - Rihanna
God is a DJ - Pink
    Fighter - Christina Aguilera
Hold On, Hold On - Neko Case
    Float On - Modest Mouse
Time for Me to Fly - Reo Speedwagon
Everything is Everything - Lauryn Hill
Walking on the Moon - Police
What Goes Around Comes Around - Justin Timberlake
    Apologize - Timbaland
    Neighborhood #1 - Arcade Fire
    Let Go - Frou Frou
Crazy - Gnarls Barkley (this gets played multiple times!)
Free Your Mind - En Vogue
Sex On Fire - Kings of Leon
What I've Done - Linkin Park
Seeds of Night - The Cave Singers
A Sorta Fairytale - Tori Amos
Hey Man - Nelly Furtado (definitely a GREAT song to get going)
Say it Right - Nelly Furtado
Just Like a Pill - Pink
WakingUup in Vegas - Katy Perry

Love you like a love song - Selena Gomez (yeah, i have tweens :-) )
    Tik Tok - Kesha

We have the same taste in music!

I also like a little old school White Zombie, Human to be exact. That song gets me going.

Music is a big deal to me in all aspects of my life, but in exercise it is a must. I had Glee on today while on the treadmill and found myself turning it up several notches when they were singing songs I like. :)
