I have a little under 100 to lose but I'm so addicted to food. It runs my life. Looking for buddies if you want to add :D.

Added! Also looking for motivation!

You may not burn as many calories in the short period of time they are on the machine but strength training means you'll burn calories all day long. However, you really need to do some cardio IMHO. I have found cardio type classes are the best work out for me. I change it up, going from boot camps, to body combat, etc.

Best thing I did was join and gym and talk to other members! Now I have a network of people I see when I work out. We also do social activities too!

My husband quit Jan. 1, 2014 and the first month was hard. He'd literally cry at times. Certain activities were triggers (going to the movies, playing video games, working on something stressful) and he had to learn to do something else. He used play video games in the evenings for an hour or so and he literally stopped…

Add me on here and on fitbit. Same name. :)

Personally I think you look great and don't need to lose anything. My mother is also loves to point out my flaws...and my sisters. Luckily we live thousands of miles away which helps our relationship tremendously. I have to constantly remind myself that her feelings are her feelings and that they have nothing to do with…

I like how your boobies have changed lol. Great job! How much protein do you aim for?

Same boat. I'm an emotional eater and addicted to junk. I try to justify that I should be able to have it once in a while but before I know it I've eaten a whole bag of chips or multiple chocolate bars. Stinks. I try to not have too much of that stuff in my house.

bump I wanna know too!

I definitely want to lose. I've lost over 25 pounds since last summer with mostly cardio and eating low cal. I've been doing this high cal/lifting thing off and on since Jan. I guess my struggle is that I got pregnant in the middle of this after years of infertility and miscarried. I gained 8 pounds in a month and now a…

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and estimate I gained a pound so far. It's hard to know because I didn't realize I was pregnant till 2 weeks ago and my weight had been fluctuating around 216-218. I'm 219 now. I'd love to have more friends on myfitnesspal that are like me :)

Love this! What inspiration

I lift with my hubby following the workout he's been using for months now. He's really toned up. I lift 10 reps x 3 or 4 gradually moving as high as I can. Sometimes my last set might be only 6 reps. I love it. Did my first set of dead lifts yesterday :).

I, personally, divide it into servings. If I cooked 3 sea bass then I'd divide the tablespoon of oil in threes and just count a 1/3 of it in my log.

Sometimes I wonder "Are you serious?"
-
You are so right girl! I almost would wish we didn't have tickers on MFP!! :flowerforyou:
-
I ran at 240 pounds using the C25K. I can run 2+ miles now at 218. Go for it.
-
I don't advertise it. Some how they know. And my heart rate monitor is under my shirt but you have to wear the watch on your wrist. Or I hang it off my water bottle sometimes.

Beautifully written! Congrats lady!:flowerforyou:

No drinking, empty calories. It's all about calories in and calories burned. If you have 3500 a week deficit in calories you have nothing to worry about. So if you go a little over calories you probably still have a deficit. If I go out I try to work out before, drink water or unsweetened tea, and half my meal. But I still…

I did for a short time. I stopped, waiting a few days, ate something fatty, and was in the Walmart bathroom for an hour. lol. Sorry TMI. It's bad and unpredictable and so not worth it!
