I thought they gave good advice overall and I understand the importance of varying your exercises. Again, thank you for sharing. I hope some others on the site who have the question about plateaus and calories in-and-out take the time to watch at least the first 5 minutes of it.

Thanks for posting your note and the link to the video. I was following along just fine up until about the 5:10 mark when they say that the treadmill and elliptical can actually slow down your metabolism and cause you to lose lean muscle mass...???!!! I would like to know what the reasoning is behind that statement. Great…

If you are moving you are burning more calories than sitting on the couch. If that's an exercise that you like and are willing to do on a regular basis then it shouldn't matter what he says.

I don't know how you store your bananas but make sure you keep them away from other fruit. Apples, peaches, and pears give off ethylene gas, which causes other fruits to ripen faster.

Just about any type of casserole. Especially tuna noodle casserole! The thought of slimy, creamy, baked canned fish makes me turn green. :sick:

I'm somewhat in the same boat. My first couple of weeks I dropped a few pounds and then got on the scale and I had gained back those few pounds. Try not to let the scale discourage you!
