I really want pizza tonight.

You got it. :) You'll do awesome and we'll cheer you on.

I agree. I think you look fabulous. :)

Each day is a fresh start. Don't beat yourself up for a bad weekend, just get yourself back on track. A slip every once in a while is ok. The fact you're aware of your "mistake" means you're ready to move on. You can do it. My addiction is Hot Tamales. I love them.

My "in common" is #10. My 10 facts: 1) I started losing weight because the people at Lane Bryant got me mad. 2) I have a daughter starting high school next year. 3) I play Candy Crush while on conference calls. 4) I enjoy my job. 5) I am a Beachbody Coach. 6) I hate water. 7) I tolerate salads, but dream of burgers. 8) I…

I switch it up. I say "I'm not trying to lose weight, per se. I just want to be healthier. And it would be awesome if I had your support, but I'm really doing this for myself."

I typically use the default cardio (aerobic) for those workout. They seem to be pretty on point most of the time.

Usually between 1800 and 2200 on a workout day and less on rest days. I do 2 high intensity workouts, though. My boot camp instructor said I should be at minimum of 1800. I'm also very tall (5'11") for a girl.

Oh, I should have said, I do boot camp 4 days a week. I try to run at least once, but to be honest, it's extremely boring to me.
-
That's a very good point.

Don't be scared or embarrassed. You're finding your routine. It sounds like you have a great plan. Just keep us posted, keep yourself accountable, and you'll do this!

Don't just go by BMI. Especially if you're gaining muscle. Find a tool that also considers your measurements.

Oh shoot, and drank a half gallon of water so far today... What's gonna happen to me?

Makes sense. Thank you. :D I use Shakeo, Quest, or whatever as snacks, not meal replacements. But, often my snacks are things like fresh broccoli and snap peas (sans dressing), or a small salad. I do try to balance. I truly understand both sides of the argument. I agree people need to know how to eat, and nothing should be…

Just a suggestion if it's a time issue, I make my breakfasts and lunches for the week on Sunday. It helps because I can just grab and go for the week.

I wish there was a like button for posts... LOL Thank you for the response. That was the debate in a nutshell. :)

Ok, side question. Shakeology out of the picture. What about the other kinds of protein rich items that aren't "real food." Like shakes and Quest bars. Are those out too? Not trying to start a fight, I really am curious. I have had a similar discussion in my groups and would love people's input.

I appreciate what you're saying, and I don't disagree. I do know people have various "tactics," some of which I would personally not use. I have never hidden the fact I am a coach, but you're right, there are some that give us a bad name. And I don't disagree with some of your points, I'm a strong proponent for nutrition…
