Oh this is great. I have people 2-3 times my size (sitting on a chair) telling me how I should workout and how to eat. I think well why don't you join me and just show me that works. I'm doing what I can handle and my own way. Everyone is different!

Yes! And people trying to shove dessert down my throat. "one time won't kill you" No but it will hurt me if I give in every time someone says that! Just let me continue with my lifestyle change and you can eat what you wanna eat, ya know? And don't feel sorry for me

Thanks so much everyone! I think I'll go with the chest strap. I was thinking that they probably would be more accurate but with technology, one never knows so I wanted to ask those who have used them. Thanks again! I looked for another topic on this but didn't see one, that's why I started my own, mmk137.

I guess what I'm asking is what are the advantages and disadvantages to not having the chest strap?

Thanks for your responses! I don't expect to lose all of my weight within the program. I'm just looking for the best workout I can find. I want to start out slow with it as well.
