I love brown rice and can be used in so many ways. One of my favorites is to brown it dry in a skillet, it brings out the nutty flavor. I also saute onions with it, I cook it with chicken broth and it is very satisfying. Brown rice is one of the best whole foods. I like it with sauteed temphe.

If it is something you may make often, give it a name and log the recipe in and you will always have it. I find that easier than always doing the individual log ins.

I too have struggled with insomnia, I take an over the counter sleep aid and sometimes I make myself an eggnog. I warm milk with a beaten egg into it. I warm this up and either add honey or a small amount of sugar, vanilla and enjoy. I found the protein in the egg helps as does the warm milk. My mom made this for me when I…

I have had back and sciatica pain since January. I think it is best to find out the root cause before injuring yourself more. I do go to a chiropractor and acupuncturist and get massages, but I had to get an MRI and find the root so I can build my strength around my weak areas. It has been a slow process but have continued…

Thank you for sharing your story. I have 2 daughters with PCOS and it is a catch 22, you have a hard time losing the weight and it causes weight gain too.
