  • What works for me is setting my 2 yo up with coloring books, dolls, etc. and I'll do an exercise video while she plays. Sometimes she likes to exercise with me, and that's great too. When the weather is nice, we take the stroller out around the neighborhood or go down to the local walking track/park. We'll walk a mile…
  • Feel free to add me! I lost 35 pounds last year, and spent the last couple of months maintaining that. Now I'm focused on losing the 50 pounds between me and my goal! My favorite snack is Special K BBQ chips. I have to portion them out into a ziploc bag or I'll eat them all! Shih tzus are cute...but my heart belongs with a…
  • Feel free to add me! I lost 35 pounds last year, and have spent the past few months maintaining that loss. Now I'm back trying to lose 50 more pounds to get to my goal.
  • I've taken it three times in the past and I will never take them again. Each time, yes I lost the weight quickly. Unfortunately, I also gained it back plus some each time when I quit taking them. It trashed my metabolism, and it took several years to recover and get to the place I am now. As far as side effects, it caused…
  • I sent you a friend request. I try to walk with Leslie daily also, and am joining in my first monthly challenge starting tomorrow!
  • Feel free to send me a request! I feel like she's my secret, I don't know anyone else who uses her program. I just started Leslie last month, and I've already bought 3 more DVD's in the past 2 weeks. Love her!
  • I'm 35, SW 218, CW 197, GW 150 Anyone feel free to add me.
  • I'm a mostly SAHM (I do work 2 days/week). I have a 19 month old who stays attached to me. My husband is a railroad engineer, and is usually only home for 12 hours once every 3 days. I usually get in a dvd workout after I feed my baby her breakfast. She loves to read, so she's usually content with a stack of books. After…
  • This isn't my first time either. Stepped on the scale after Christmas and saw 216....EEEK. I had gained most of what I had previously lost. So I'm back at it, and I'm down to 201 now. Feel free to add me.

  • My transition wasn't a planned one. The firm I had worked with for over ten years announced they were shutting down while I was on maternity leave (cue major meltdown). They had been in business for over 90 years, so it was quite a shock. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise though.
  • Feel free to add me. I'm on a mission to lose about 60 pounds. At 208 now, down ten pounds so far.
  • I'm not an engineer, but a fellow data nerd who loves charts and spreadsheets! I like to see how it all works, how doing this causes that to happen. Charts make me happy. That is one fine looking spreadsheet, high five to you! Whatever works for you, do it!
  • My husband works for the railroad, so he's gone for days at a time, and no regular hours to speak of. He's on call 24/7. Sometimes I have to resort to 5 minutes at a time on the treadmill throughout the day....but I'm determined to lose this weight one way or the other.
  • I work two days/week but stay at home with my 17 month old the other 5 days. I thought before I had the baby that I would have plenty of time to diet and work out once I stayed home....boy was I wrong! It's harder to fit in exercise on the days I'm home than the days I work. Feel free to add me!
  • I can relate. I'm starting back for the umpteenth time. But determined that this is the time I finally value myself enough to stick with it. I've dusted off the treadmill and also bought an activity tracker. The tracker has definitely helped keep me motivated to move, it's like a competition with myself each day. Feel free…

  • I've lost track of how many times I've started and restarted. Y'all feel free to add me.
  • I don't know how to add you from the app, but I will be using my Jawbone just as soon as it's delivered. Can't wait to try it out, I'm hoping it motivates me to keep moving!
  • I'm in the exact same boat. I'm hoping to stay on track this time.
  • 35 year old wife and mom, also needing motivation and encouragement. I'm looking to lose around 50 pounds.
  • Me too....I can't remember how many times I've restarted. But I'm hoping this time I keep my motivation!
  • Short term - be under 200 by March 13 ( I'm 212 now). Less short term - 170 by Sept 1 Long term - 140-ish, get off of blood pressure meds, be confident, get back into running again, not have the heart issues my family members do
  • I'm in the same boat, I can't remember if this is my third, fourth or fifth time back on the wagon. Hoping I find whatever it takes to stick with it this time!
  • I would love to. I also have a 16 month old!
  • Thank you for posting this. I've been lurking on this site for many years, and here I am back again. It's interesting to see what makes people keep on keeping on. I'm great at buckling down for six months or so, then I ruin it all. I hope this time something is different, that I'm different, that I can learn to value…
  • I've been on WW for three weeks also, and I think I'm going to cancel and just do MFP. I've been tracking both just out of curiosity, but following WW. My first week I lost 1 lb, last week 0.8lb, and my next weigh in is tomorrow (as of this morning it was around - 0.6lb). My settings are to lose 2 lbs/week. I'm not eating…
  • I'm also new, and with similar weight loss goals. It's awesome that you've hiked the AT!
  • I look forward to being comfortable enough in a swimsuit to run around and play with my daughter without feeling like everyone is looking at me in disgust. I look forward to being IN the photos with my daughter instead of taking them. And not getting the "fat people" tube when we go snow tubing. We take a trip to TN every…
