I am so sorry for your loss but happy you are here. Your daughter was a wake up call for you and that is special in and of itself. So often we don't have people willing to tell us what we need to hear. Feel free to add and we can help each other, emotional eating is one of my problems too.

Anxiety is tough but you are controlling what you want to and finding a plan and exercising with that sort of focus will help. It seems like you've taken a lot of very good steps quickly.

Good luck, even if you are into sports it is hard, I originally gained a lot of weight in college and I was a sports guy. Just need to find a plan that works for you and commit to it with consistency. Don't be shy about it, just do it openly.
