  • I am finally to that point as well -- took me a while to get there, but I am there. Still "splurge" once in a while, and sometimes a little more than others. Now to maintain it and continue toning.
  • Just recently tried on New Balance 880s and Brooks Ghosts; and I really liked them both. Watching out for sales so I can get some. I found some New Balance 880s on Ebay for $59.99 w/free shipping. Think I am going to snatch them up....
  • Me too in regards to the bra size - but even more of a difference - I went from a 36C to a 32DDD/34DD depending on the bra. Now that I have lost even more weight I think I need to go back for another sizing because my cup size seems to be getting too big.
  • A somewhat sexy (but kid appropriate should some one try to crawl in bed during the night) nightie on nights DH is getting the "green light" for some action..... Other than that, depending on the weather, a tank or t-shirt during the summer or a tank and a t-shirt with pajama pants during the winter.
  • Excellent story!! And congrats on your weight loss....
  • Depends on where my calorie count and sugar count are for the day.... Definitely something with protein - if not I wake up starving the next morning. I vary between some fruit (apple or banana) and peanut butter, Wheat Thins and Sharp Cheddar Slices, or a yogurt parfait made with Greek Yogurt and a variety of add-ins…
  • I was thinking the same thing!! :)
  • I was wondering this same exact thing -- I do not wear a heart rate monitor and wonder about doing so.... I have a friend of mine that posted a FB status of "After a slight twist of the knee I finished 4.6 miles and burned 1030 calories this morning!' I also went for a jog this morning- 5 miles in 60 minutes (had to walk…
  • Right there with you! I was weighing myself every day and even though I knew the fluctuations were "normal" - that didn't mean they still weren't frustrating.... I now weigh myself every 4 - 6 weeks and look forward to weighing in to see how much better I am doing. I also pay attention to my clothes and how they are…
  • 35 -- half way to 40!
  • I like to add stuff to it -- depending on my mood, I will add almonds, coconut, and mini chocolate chips.... or if I am being "good" I will add a tropical mixed fruit medley and maybe a little granola.
  • So, you think that by using the 1200 + exercise worked until you essentially plateaued? And now you have to re-evaluate?

  • No hurry at all -- that is the point, have done the hurry diet before and it worked great for the time being until life got in the way. So, now I am back doing it the "right way". So, I will definitely check out that link. Thanks so much!

  • So if I go in and change my weight lose goal to be "more realistic" it should recalculate the 1200 to be closer to what my BMR is? When I factor in my exercise calories - or at least what MFP has them set at it has me eating a little higher than my BMR calorie intake should be... So would that mean it will essentially all…

  • I am still at the point of walking some -- I am a seasonal runner even though I tried to keep exercising inside during the winter months. I have just started getting outside almost 3 weeks ago. Right now - I am working towards 10 minutes running 5 minutes walking and I do that for roughly an hour then stretching after. I…
  • I am the same as you as far as evening work outs... I am still working up to doing a full running work out. I am up to run 10 minutes - walk 5 minutes and do that 4 times a week normally getting in between 5 and 6 miles - the other 2 nights I take my daughter and I brisk walk it and she does her best to keep up with me -…
  • So - IYHO - if my exercise calories + the 1200 MFP calories = my BMR - as long as I eat back the bulk of my exercise calories, I am on the right track, correct?

  • I guess another question I would have is if you are suppose to eat your BMR then why is myfitnesspal setting your calorie count at less than that? Wouldn't it make more sense to have your calorie count for MFP be based on your BMR not their "generic formula" if you will?

  • I started some running/jogging/walking last summer and am starting up again. I have read about Interval Training in a few different articles. Is there anyway to Interval Train without taking a stopwatch with you? I had thought about Interval Training by song, but not sure if that would work as well or if I am setting…
  • IN AS WELL! LET'S MOVE IT..... Moving Goal: 480 minutes.... Mon: Tue: Wed: Thur: Fri: Sat: Sun: Total / min left: 0 / ???
  • Can you enlighten me... what is the TDEE method? I don't think I have heard of that before and would be interested in learning more.....
  • Not at all trying to justify overeating... Simply curious that is all! Like I said to other people who have responded... I was looking to hear from those that do count it and if they do how they determine how to count it. Simply curious.... nothing more, nothing less....
  • Thanks for the reminder - raking and cleaning up the yard are on my "to-do" list this weekend if the weather is good...
  • Thanks for replying ~ I never would have thought to include gardening or raking or any of those outside activities. Congrats on the weight loss... I see you are almost to your goal based on your ticker!
  • Thanks for replying! That was my thought too... when you are doing your "serious spring cleaning" that is one thing. Timing how long it takes you to sweep and mop on a daily basis, is another thing...
