I have taken water aerobic classes and there are a lot of different moves you can do for a great workout in the water. I bet you can find some on YouTube. The cross country ski (standing upright move your legs and arms opposite each other to keep your head up in deep water - hope that makes sense) was a great one for me. I…

I keep trying different adjustments and it seems like I naturally want to fall back to eating about my BMR regardless of exercise but sometimes I eat them if I feel hungry (or at least I feel like I have a buffer zone if I eat something that I have a hard time calculating).

I got a glass water bottle so I can do half cold tap water and half boiling water so it is very warm but not hot. It helps me a lot (I often feel cold so it appeals to me to drink something warm). I still struggle getting all my water done in the day. Good luck!

I am currently tracking my sugar and trying to keep to about 30g a day. I struggle to get my amounts properly managed each day (carb/fat/pro). Does anyone get all their amounts properly allocated? I need to find better solutions. I plan on tracking more as time goes on. I'd like to learn more about my nutritional balance.

My favorite snacks are - string cheese, hard boiled egg, 1oz almonds, banana, tbs peanut butter, baby carrots, hummus I did WW years ago and I prefer MFP by so much. I like that MFP feels more real without the veil of this points system. I feel like MFP focuses me more on exercise. I like that it is free. Why should I have…

Yes, I weigh and measure my food. I am not good at eyeballing amounts.

I don't work out as much as you do but I aim for about 30g protein before a workout and 20g after. I occasionally use a protein powder made from eggwhites made by a company called MRM ( http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM3286470802P?sid=IDx20101019x00001a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=SPM3286470802 ) and I blend it with…

Not about nutrition, but I liked Animal Vegetable Miracle for the story themes about food and family and questioning our relationship to our local food community.

I do work out. I know that it is important for my weight loss and also mentally. I struggle with finding a sustainable exercise for me for long term. I can get all gangbusters about boot camp or spinning class when I am really motivated to lose weight, but I find I don't keep it up for too long. My favorite form of…
