I have the same unit. Based on what you have said about yourself it sounds about right. That is if you have input your correct age and weight. They aren't exact but pretty close in most cases when doing cardio.

Whey isn't just for bodybulders. Yes they would most likely use consume more of it than the average person. However it is beneficial to non-bodybulders as well. Just watch the sugar and fat content in some brands.

Be careful doing this type of exercise barefoot. It is very hard on the joints. After a while not having the proper footwear to absorb the shock/ impact will take a toll on your feet and knees.

What you have may be good to start but as you progress you may want to get heavier dumbells. The bands are good. Check out ebay and craigslist for used or better pricing.

Give it time. How did you come up with that calorie daily max? Depends on how much you want to loose. Also what kinds of cals are you taking in? Lean proteins (fish, chicken, etc.) and healthy complex carbs. Lots of fruits and veggies.
