Thanks hot bod! I think I gained a lot of muscle. Had NONE before. I think I just need to press on and continue eating clean and lifting. I certainly feel better than I did 10 weeks ago.

HIIT. Weights and cardio.

masfe: I think the original poster is referring to shrinking his stomach (the organ where the food goes) --- not the belly fat. He is trying to make his stomach smaller so he becomes fuller faster (something different than spot reducing, which you're right, is not possible).

Have one. Love that it's single serve rather than having to clean a huge blender. The quality is adequate.

Estilljs --- Mine always goes to 00 and stops working for a bit -- almost every time I use it. Still love it though. I gave up on my Fitbit after having to re-order three times because they stopped working.

I should be drinking less?

Congrats on the new body! Would love to hear about your exercise routine!

If I increased calorie intake and wasn't exercising, the extra cals would turn to fat. So, with exercising it will turn to muscle?? I guess it also depends on the quality of food, whole grain and high protein and low sugar.

This might sound ridiculous, but please help me understand... I am attempting to lower body fat percentage, but more importantly increase muscle. I might be at a point where I need to significantly up my calories and I'm trying to understand why... building muscle requires more calories??? Increasing calories just seems…

I have a Tanita scale as well and it usually comes up higher than it should, I think. I am waiting for an AccuCaliper that I just ordered. I've heard that the best thing to do is take an average of all three. Another way to do it is with measuring tape and entering in the numbers to a website and seeing what it comes up…

I realize you already have a pedometer, but if you're really interested in knowing the extra calories burned from walking, have you considered a fitbit? It calculates the extra calories for you and can be synced with mfp.
-
I think it's accurate based on calculations and fitbit. Maybe not?

I have the FT7 and love it!

That's what I think. Not sure though. I know people freak out about netting under 1200 but in reality because I eat my exercise calories back I consume about 1300-1500 a day. Wondering what others think.

When I'm not hungry but want to eat something, I drink chai tea. It's fulfills my craving for something sweet and fills me up with water.

I find that drinnking water and eating more fruits/veggies helps with the acne.

That's what I like about combining MFP with Fitbit and HRM. HRM tracks my real cardio and Fitbit takes care of accumulated non-cardio activity (cleaning, walking around). Using all three takes the guesswork out of everything.

I tried it today. I thought I was in good shape... but it really kicks my butt! Will continue with it.
