  • I am with you smangani- I hated the elliptical when I first started it. I could only last 3 mins on the thing. Now I love it!!! I can go for 40 mins at 8-10 resistance and burn 400 calories easy.   • That is the problem. I don 't have a HRM and I can't afford one right now. I guess I will leave it alone since I walk 3 miles a day on rough terrain at 3.0 MPH and I burn over 500 calories. Guess it can't hurt. Thank you everyone for your help.
  • Everyone tells me to get a Heart Rate Monitor. There are ones out there that calculate your calories, miles, etc. Check out the forum on HRM. It was very helpful. :glasses:
