I suppose it could be possible that it's water weight? I'm having the same issue--same weight and everything, except I just got injured from running and can no longer exercise. It could be the types of foods you are eating also. I think that's what my problem is, because right now I'm eating under 1,200 and still not…

It could be exercise-induced asthma... That's what I have, and it can develop over time, not necessarily a condition you would have had for your whole life. Try an inhaler a half hour before you work out and see if it makes a difference. If not, your problem may be more serious and hopefully your doctor will be able to…

Personally, I usually do 40-60 minutes of intense cardio with a little lifting. Also on Mondays I do every abdominal exercise I can think of :) If you're having trouble doing the lifting after cardio, divide your workout into two sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon/night, or you can lift before the…

I go to Loyola University Maryland. I like it, although there isn't much diversity and a lot of people here are disgustingly rich. I really like the classes and professors though, and I run cross country and track so that's nice too. It's fun if you meet the right people.

It's supposed to help blood flow because when you're cold, your blood rushes to that area to make it warm again; this provides oxygen to your muscles helping them to heal. http://triathlon.competitor.com/2009/05/training/fun-in-the-tub-the-benefits-of-taking-an-ice-bath_1257

Carbs, carbs, carbs, and more carbs. Eat the fruit after your run as it will metabolize better. But you want to eat bread, pasta, cereal, granola bars, any type of carbs before your long run. Then after the long run, as a snack, it's ok to eat protein and sugars within that 30 minute window after running.

Instead of a hot bath, try an ice bath. Ice baths are supposed to cause more blood flow to the areas which you are icing, and will help you recover more quickly. Additionally, stretch a lot, everywhere, even though you're sore. Any kind of Tylenol or Advil won't hurt either. Also, for myself, I have found that sleeping a…

I do the same thing as you, and I run in college. I usually have practice to two hours everyday (although not all of it is running) and I take Sundays off from running just to give my muscles a break. It's good for you, and you really don't lose any amount of fitness unless you take more than two or three days off.…
