I'm a night eater so I save half my daily calories for after about 8pm. Instead of forcing myself to shift my hunger earlier, I just accept that I'm hungrier at night and accommodate for it. Intermittent Fasting is what I lightly follow (first meal is often at 2pm).

Weightlifting recovered my metabolism after a decade of eating disorders. Metabolism is a function of lean body mass (aka muscle), not caloric intake.

How long has it been since you took a rest day? There's no shame in skipping a workout if you're stupidly sore. If foam rolling and stretching don't help, I'd say just move your cardio a day forward.

Honestly, I'd ask your doctor/a neurologist. Numbness on one side of the body is disconcerting.

Sprint training / HIITs. Sprint for 45 seconds and run for a minute. Repeat until you can't. Shouldn't be more than ten minutes, or you're not sprinting. This preserves muscle mass while burning fat. Tabata and the seven minute workout are variations on HIITs.

Lift heavy. HIITs. Caloric deficit. Cardio. There is no secret diet or exercise.

One before and one after is ideal.

First HIITs/metabolic training in two months. I had to take time off after surgery. Felt amazing to do that again. Oh, and Bench PR!

He's been happy that my starting to exercise regularly has made me happier, healthier, and stronger. We now have an activity that we can do together that we both enjoy. I love lifting with him. We get to do obstacle races and 5Ks together. We buy protein and supplements together. It's really bonding.

Bolthouse Farms makes a ranch dressing that's 45 calories/2 T. It's the best light dressing I've had. They have a wide variety of different dressings that have been good. I also like Trader Joes light Creamy Peppercorn Ranch that's 30 calories/2 T.

Hundreds of people step on the doctor's office scale a day. The last time it's been calibrated is probably when it was installed however many decades ago. Much more likely that your doctor's is off.

Usually none, I just lift weights 4x a week for ~90 minutes.
