I had to google the name but it's called the Bioelectric Impedance Analysis. Those hand held devices. ETA: 1600 cals/day....4 workouts/wk for an hour at a time....30 mins cardio, 30 mins strength training.

I use to do cardio first because I felt like that was a good warm-up for lifting. Then I started working with a trainer and he said to lift first, so that's what I do now.

Hola! We just moved here from Indiana 3 mts ago. We're in Plano, just north of Dallas. I rejoined MFP today after about a year hiatus. I'm 15-20 lbs away from reaching my short term goal. 40 lbs away from my ultimate goal. Feel free to add me!

I was watching a documentary on him a couple mts ago and it said that in his hometown, part of their welcome sign says "come as you are". Thats probably my favorite Nirvana song too.

I usually do shrimp or veggie fajitas and get corn tortillas instead of flour. And i only use pico de gallo for topping. Maybe a little bit of guac.

Couple years ago, Jillian Michaels was on the Today Show and a viewer asked the same question. Jillian said real sugar in moderation.

Hi! I'm Alicia, 28, live in Indiana and I am a claims analyst for the Indiana Medicaid office in downtown Indy. It's a pretty boring job. Although I keep a 1.5 liter jug of water at my desk and that makes me have to go to the bathroom several times a day so i'm able to walk around quite a bit thanks to my bladder :laugh:

I don't like to stretch for some reason but I force myself to do about 5 mins worth before and after a run and a 5 min brisk walk before and after as well.

Awesome!!! I've upped my calorie intake as well. I lost 5 lbs once I started MFP, then i've stalled here lately. Come to find out, I could have been unintentionally starving myself....netting only around 1200 calories, sometimes below. So I decided to see what my BMR and TDEE were since I saw that brought up alot on here.…

I would love to be able to tell someone that i'm running a half marathon in May and them not look at me like i'm crazy or just directly say so. I'm the only runner in my family and only have maybe 2 or 3 friends who are runners. Right now, i've only been running about 15 miles per week. I try and vary up my cardio workouts…

I'm pescetarian and have been for about 6 mts. I eat fish. No meat or poultry. Slowly trying to rid myself of cheese....I don't really consume any other dairy product. I drink soy milk and found that I actually like soy better than cow's milk anyways. Maybe eventually i'll become full vegetarian but I love my seafood.

No menstrual cycles as a result of Mirena. Just occasional light spotting. I could use more Vit K in my diet but I for sure don't overdo it on Vit E.

I take a regular women's one a day vitamin about every other night. Nightly when I can remember to take it.

YES! I found this thread at a good time! I just ordered a sub for lunch and was tempted to get a bag of salt & vinegar chips to go w/ it but I didn't. But now i'm going to try this chickpea recipe and hopefully i'll like them and won't even need the chips anymore. Thanks for posting!!

5.5 lbs to go with 27% body fat. As previous posters have mentioned, it seems like the last 5-10 lbs are the most difficult to lose.

I participated in a yoga class for the first time this past Monday night after a run. It was mostly just alot of stretching and relaxation for an hour. Loved it though! I would be interested in trying a more hardcore version of it.

I'm in the middle of my 4th week (12 week program) of training for half marathon and i'm running as far as 5 miles, and my speed is steadily increasing.

I like to use Smuckers reduced sugar strawberry spread in mine. Or dried cranberries.

I'm doing my first mini marathon May 5! It'll actually be my first race ever. I'm currently involved in a training program at my gym to get me prepared. I do that 3 times a week. My goal is 2:30. Good luck!!!

Buffalo Wild Wings! My once favorite place to eat. I have been there once without ordering wings and it was torture. I know if I go there today, I won't have the self-control to not order 8 boneless garlic wings and potato wedges. I'm sure I could substitute the wedges for a side salad but i would have to have the wings.…

At our local chinese restaurants, they have a section on the menu labeled "diet dishes" where all the veggies are steamed and they serve the sauce on the side w/ white rice.
