Wow to this ^^^^^ I'm down 1.5lbs this week, am going to try and kickstart things with some hiking in the great weather we're having plus lowering my carb intake
-
At the moment, once a week on Monday morning as soon as I get up - thats my official weigh in day. I do occasionally have a mid week peek too. When I've been at lower weights (most recently at 128lbs lowest) I used to weigh myself a lot, just for the joy of seeing such numbers lol

That's great!

I'll kick off for this week - a pound off, taking me to a total loss of 7lbs :) I'd like to kick my progress up to 2lb per week, so I'm going to give strength training a go, having bought The New Rules of Lifting for Woman, even tho the thought of going to weights section of gym makes me cringe a bit!

I'm a Monday weigh-in girl, I'm from Yorkshire and I'm already on your friend list - happy to share the pain/celebrate the progress with you!

A great post and lots of fantastic advice You're right, you were beautiful at all your weights, but wow how lovely you look in your wedding picture. Really glowing :)

Anal leakage ... can there be a more revolting concept?! Jeez

^^^ This Great post - every day I ask myself to make the right choices, and to make these choices for LIFE. I've lost and gained weight for 20 years - this time, I'm telling myself "this is the last time I'm losing these pounds" because I'm going to change the way I eat permanently

I'm having a girls night out with my two sisters (both smaller than me) - I want to just enjoy the night, instead of being constantly aware of being fat

Personally, after having looked at your diary, I'd be cutting back on cereals and bread and bumping up your fats and proteins. I know it's anathema to some on here, but my own long and bitter experience with dieting is that the sort of carbs you find in breakfast cereals and bread play hell with your blood sugar and…

You look great - and you have such a beautiful smile! Congrats on your achievement

I lost a lot of weight on low carb, and actually didn't mind it as I'm a big meat eater and was happy to eat chicken and green veg every day lol. However, now I'm married and living with my family, rather than alone and therefore in total control of the content of the fridge, I find it almost impossible to maintain the…

I worked out my basal metabolic rate (BMR) for my height, weight and age and then multiplied using a set equation to allow for light exercise (up to three times per week moderate stuff) which probably slightly underestimates what I do but better that than over. Using that formula, my maintenance calories would be 2,000/day…

Prefer to see bones?! Whoa, glad he's an ex boyf

I agree ^^ Staci looks great, really toned without losing her feminine side. For me, the pics you posted are just a little too far on the muscular side, but I totally support you wanting to do it - it's about being what you want to be and pushing yourself to get there. I love seeing pics of celebs where their legs are…

This is a really interesting thread - I think it shows how there is no one "ideal" weight, but that it varies depending on your frame, your % lean muscle etc. I'm 5ft 3" and got down to 127lbs the last time I dieted and was a UK size 8/10 - I looked and felt great, and don't think going any lighter would have suited me,…

27 Dresses and James Marsden. He is very cute & sexy

Bit of a Jonah Hill going on there, hungrybear :)

You look great - and years younger! Keep on keeping on - the logging is so important, it really helps with discipline and you know without being told that it's easy to stray from the path, right?! Great photos, very motivational

I'm 5ft 3 and would love to be 130lbs again. I'm currently 159lb and my first goal is 30lbs off, but we'll see after that Happy to be added for friend requests
-
And me! Happy to be added, as only just started and would be great to have friend support
-
Hi, I'm Yorkshire - I've only just joined so haven't started adding friends yet! Feel free to add me :) Previously lost 35lbs on the Idiot Proof Diet (low carb) and enjoyed the support on the IPD forum, but have decided to try this method as now I'm married I find it very difficult to eat low carb all the time (husband…

I've yo-yo'd with my weight all my life - so I've been round the block a few times on the old compliments thing I relate to the OP - it is bittersweet, especially when you let the weight loss slide and become gain again :( When I was 18, i worked away from home for 12 months. I was 175lbs when I went away (I'm 5ft 3, so…
