I usually spend 45-60 minutes lifting and then either run intervals for 25 mins or walk on the treadmill for 30+ minutes. If you can spend 2 hours on the treadmill, I would say it's definitely time to add some lifting/reduce treadmill time. Look on the forum for some beginner programs: Stronglifts, New Rules of Lifting.…

No, it isn't. My foot is a mess (it's congenital, so it isn't a mess from running). I used to run, and running eventually just bothered my foot too much. I switched my focus onto lifting, and my foot is much better. I still run short intervals and walking is fine. Maybe you can find a form of exercise that is a better fit.

I don't count my intentional exercise in my activity level. In MFP, you "earn" calories for working out, so I consider working out separate from activity level. I have 2 young kids too...I had my activity level set as active, but I didn't see any weight loss. I dropped it to lightly active and had weight loss. I also spend…

Heavy squats = not being able to sit on the toilet the next day

If you are powerlifting, do you want to lose "weight" or lose fat? There's a thread on here about recomping. Look for that.

The only thing I can suggest, b/c really it seems like you have an idea of what you are doing, is to make sure you hit your protein goals. That's helped me stay fuller longer. I did read once (I don't have the citation for it) that your body needs 100 grams of carbs/daily for basic functions. You could potentially increase…

Have you had human breast milk as an adult? It's not that delicious with cookies.

Men are only a distraction when they want to interrupt me to find out if I'm single. I'm not...go away.

I can see my abs; I'm guesstimating I'm around 21% bf right now (based on previous bf measurement and math). Most of my fat is in my butt/thigh region. I've been lifting heavy for 2.5 years...and recomping for most of that time. So as far as a time frame, you could probably diet your way to abs faster than I did, but I…

I log what I am going to eat the next day when I get ready for bed. If I have to deviate from the pre-logging, I just fix it and don't freak out. I eat a lot of leftovers and very similar meals most days during the work week.

I fall up stairs, b/c my size 9 feet (I'm 5'3) are too big for steps. I broke 3 toes once.

I used online calculators and then used one of the scales at the health outreach program at the hospital. Both gave me the same exact bf% (that was 2 years ago). Maybe not 100% accurate, but good enough for me. I figure I'll go back and use the scale. It may not be completely valid, but using the same method should be a…

Yeah, that happens. Try increasing protein and/or fat intake.

My husband had dark hair (notice I used the past tense), dark eyes, and a red beard. I didn't know any other women had the red beard fetish!
-
I just had one for dinner. I usually just bake and sprinkle with cinnamon, but I added butter today, b/c I could.

I have red hair/brown eyes. I'd prefer to have green eyes, BUT there isn't much I can do about that.

If you aren't having other hormonal/fertility issues than possibly try switching to a non-hormonal IUD. I had one that worked (didn't have a kid during that time) with no known side effects.

I've been powerlifting for 2.5 years. I'm the exact same weight, but I can see my abs now. The scale is pointless for me. What does the # on the scale even matter if your body is improving?

First, talk to your OB and tell her you had an ED. Second, pregnancy weight gain isn't necessarily consistent and isn't uniform. With my 1st pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight at the beginning, especially around the 8 week timeframe. My weight gain plateaued and stopped around the 34 week mark. With my 2nd, I gained NO…

Chicken fajitas; you have some control over what you put into a fajita.

Also if you are working 14 hrs straight with no chance to eat, why not pack a peanut butter sandwich (something non-perishable) and eat it right before you start work? I used to break my b'fast in 2 parts when I was a teacher.
-
I had 3 pieces of turkey bacon and 2 eggs for b'fast. It was about 250 calories and 30 grams of protein. I also had to eat half a pita (90 calories/5 grams of protein), b/c I needed carbs before the gym. You likely find that protein and fat are more important for a solid b'fast than calories (250 calories is low in my…

Stop doing cardio and see if the situation continues. I would also look at your diet. I know this isn't quite the same, but I dropped too low on calories and felt physically terrible and drained all around. I would also talk to a dr.

It's on YouTube; everything is on YouTube. Also look for Oderus reading Good Night Moon. You'll thank me later.

Remember that time GWAR was on Jerry Springer?

We sound very similar. I recommend buying tank tops and showing off your awesome shoulders. That's what I do.

I definitely would have eaten better with my first; I did keep exercising up until about 2 weeks before I had the baby. I ate better with the second one, gained a couple of pounds less, and lost the baby weight a bit sooner. I would have tried to get more sleep BEFORE I had the baby (that's something you will miss). I…

Why does everyone forget Gwar on these lists?

I prefer "built fat."

Our well was tested when we bought our house 10 years ago and met the criteria for safety. I haven't considered testing it again. My "city friend" told me that our water tastes sweet. I figured that was better than "sour."
