Amen! All women are real women! And men have differing preferences just like women do :]
-
It depends on what my mood is and what I'm doing :] If I'm lifting, then my music tends to be heavier and more metal-y, like Maximum the Hormone. If I'm doing cardio, I need something bright and happy to distract myself, like pop music or indiepop like MGMT. If I'm circuit training, anything goes!

I'm a vegetarian of ten years :]

Wow, I hope you're not serious, or you are a real *kitten*. Women are good for more than sex and you are not entitled to our bodies.

Don't worry about using the 5-lb weights with 30DS. There are a ton of reps and I can guaruntee that if you are not used to strength training, even the 5-lb weights might be too much. (I myself had to use 3lb weights for some of the exercises....)

I genuinely thought this was trolling when I first read it....I WISH those were my measurements! But I'm a pear shape and all of my weight is leaving my thighs instead of my waist. If only my waist would get smaller. But really...Why would you complain about your waist (of all things) being too small? I love hourglass…

Thanks for the input! I think I decided to do just a 4-week reset, and re-evaluate where I am after that.
-
To reset or not to reset? That is the question. I was never really on a VLCD...The lowest I netted was 1400 when I started out, only about 100 cal below my BMR. I ate that way for 3 months, and saw modest weight loss. Then I found out about EM2WL and I started that in May. I went directly into the 15% cut and my weight…

What helps me is to paint my nails. It helps me to control my impulses, as it is a distraction, and as soon as you start you can't stop, because you'll get paint all over everything and your nails will look bad. Plus your nails will look good :]

Hahaha I wish I could buy on Amazon, but as I am just eighteen I don't have a credit card or anything to buy things online with, so I have to buy things in person with cash or check.
-
I would like to buy flavorless, but it's not offered in any stores near where I live, sooo I'm stuck between the two.

You need to eat your exercise calories because if you don't, you are in danger of starving the systems in your body of the fuel they need to run. Your car uses more gas when you drive it more, does it not? Your body works the same way. My Fitness Pal is designed so that you will eat your exercise calories back- otherwise…

Stevia FTW! Zero calories, tastes better than the other sweeteners (in my opinion), and it is natural and plant-derived instead of artificial. For me it's a win-win situation.

I love Subway! I always get a 6in veggie on wheat bread with plenty of veggies, mustard, and avocado. no cheese. It is low-sodium and low-calorie, as well as very filling. Subway can be a good place to eat as long as you buy the right things. Obviously a meatball marinara sub on cheesy bread isn't good for you.

I like to make whole wheat macaroni and then mix in green peas and Laughing Cow cheese (my favorite is light Creamy Swiss!) and it is delicious.

I think if you're going to go over on a macro, protein is the best one to go over on. It will help you build muscle.

Food Lion because it is literally the only grocery store in my town...and I also buy from farmers' produce stations on the sides of roads, although we don't have a "farmer's market..."

Sunday: Yoga, stretching Monday, Wednesday, Friday: running and circuit training Tuesday, Thursday: Stationary bike intervals and circuit training I generally get about 6 hours of exercise per week.
-
I eat about 1800-2000 every day, but net just above my BMR at 1600 :]
-
If it's really difficult to get up that early, I would recommend waking up 15 minutes earlier every day until you reached 6:15 so that your body has time to get used to a new sleep schedule. Once your body is used to it, it should be just like getting up at your normal time. Just make sure to go to bed early enough! :]

I started at 165 and my goal is 135, but I will continue to tone from there and might lose more weight in the process.

10% without muscles looks best to me. Just like my boyfriend! :]

After checking out your blog, I have to say I agree with everyone else. You do seem to have an unhealthy relationship with food. There is no reason anyone should eat less than 1200 calories. That is called starving yourself, and it can really hurt you in the long run. You will lose more fat by eating more and exercising.

Actually, it depends on the intensity of the cardio. If you are doing HIIT, then you might only need 20 minutes, but if you are taking it fairly easy on the elliptical, you might need a whole hour. Intensity is far more important than the length of time you spend.
