Hi, another MFP member posted this a couple months ago and I found it really helpful as I love sushi too!!! There is certainly a great deal of talk these days about Sushi this and Sushi that. While I am certainly no expert in this area Shape magazine recently published the following article about how to make healthier…

I use to get them from stress, and I've also had them after coming in from a cold run in the winter. I haven't had them for a long time though, so hopefully yours are temporary!!

It has properties similar to many sugars with one important exception: its glycemic index is significantly lower, so you don't get the…

Good point Bittie! And KyliAnn, how did you pop it? I've seen it done with a heavy book with the ones on the outside of the hand, but how did you do it on the inside of your wrist??

And I'm really sorry you are going through this Bittie ... what an AWFUL spot for one!!!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one going through this! From what I've read, most of these cysts tend to be on the back of the hand. Mine is palm side and I think on a nerve, which is causing the pain. I've heard a few people on here say push ups are now out, but I'm going to try to stay positive, as push ups are such a…

Yes, someone else suggested wrapping it, so I will give that a try. It's the weirdest thing ... I had never even HEARD of these before. Thanks everyone for your comments and advice.

Thanks for the reply! Since this is the first time I've had it, I guess I will have to wait and see. If it comes back or continues to be painful, I will have to do something about it. I just really hope it doesn't continue to affect my weight lifting

I have run several half marathons and only had this happen with my last one. I wear very good shoes, so I'm not sure why it happened this time. Good news is it does grow back though

Red wine lover here!! Wonderful with a nice asiago cheese or dark chocolate (or both!!)

I'm running today and it's really windy here as well (Ontario). Try to pick a route where the wind is at your side or back for the majority of it. If you can't avoid the wind, the general rule is to run into the wind for the beginning of your run when you are fresh, and have the wind at your back for your return. Have fun…
