That makes sense. I don't want to make anyone else's life change(like not keeping snacks in the house) and his food choices are not terrible. But I have always gone hard or gone home and it means not eating out or drinking. I am just trying to find balance and I am really struggling.

I should see a counselor because the medication is just from my PCP.

I feel like I've tried everything. Not eliminatingbut staying within calorie, low carb, shakes. Nothing that worked in the past is keeping me from emotional eating. I thought it would improve after mental health medication but they cause terrible cravings.

I know that it can be tougher to stay on track if you're eating foods you don't necessarily feel good about but it is possible to stay in a deficit with any food! Just cut portions/possibly get a food scale to weigh.

I believe I've gains 10lbs this month. Crave-inducing medicines and BED don't mix. Doctor has put me on Adderall for ADHD so hopefully that offsets me a bit.

To those with the "tough love"--- I tracked today. I am not "hoping". I have a lot of crap against me but it doesn't mean I am not trying. Just because I didn't lay it all out in my original message doesn't mean there's not reasons that it's harder with obstacles than it has been before. But I am trying.

I didn't really choose it. Have been very up and down with being on or off the wagon. It helped me for about two weeks then I binged again. Can't really get a handle on it.

Gotcha, no most days are way more than that. Probably 4k? But yeah I wanna reel it in and maybe have something to show for my lifting. I said out of control because I'm on a medication that makes me have crazing cravings and I really do feel out of control.

Technically my base is 1200 but Fitbit gave me 700 more for gym and walking(it's usually spot on and I've lost before using those numbers) But yeah I'm at 2400 intake today.

Today I'm at 500cal over(and this is a good day). I will try harder tomorrow.
