This is part of the article that I just read yesterday. Because, I honestly would rather eat more on weekends as well: "Scenario #1: On your cheat day, you indulge in a few extra sweets or treats and take in 2,500 calories total. This brings your daily average to 1,514, which is still within your weight-loss calorie range.…

I use the "Mason Jar Meals" idea. It's so helpful to know servings!...and it makes the kitchen look pretty too :D This is this weeks meals. The spaghetti is for my hubby. And I'm alternating breakfast sandwiches (Thomas Light English Muffin, 1 egg, 1 slice of ham) and Rolled (NON-instant) oats, with chocolate peanut butter…

You can totally lose 10 pounds in a month. But, it will take serious dedication to do healthy. It's all math. I posted this forum a little bit ago. This is how you lose the weight you want in the time you want to lose it. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/807681-how-to-lose-10-20-30-pounds-in-so-many-months "Hey you…

Weightlifting is your friend!!! Lift heavy. Forget those 2lb weights. Lift as heavy as you can while keeping good form. If 5lbs is heavy for you, start there. But, if if know you can start with 10-15lbs while keeping good form, please do it. Don't cheat yourself. By the last rep, lifting that weight should be exhausting.…

You're welcome you guys!!!

This post isn't about trying to give common sense. lol! For those that would eat barely nothing to lose quickly, they will soon learn of "starvation mode" and how the body won't lose a thing and hold on to all fat and lose the muscle purposefully. This post is for those that just want to know the deal. The math behind it…

I'm all for checking on another site! Where'd you find out your BMR?! I'd love to check mine there too!

Minizebu: I understand. But, for me, I've failed multiple times weighing myself. Especially daily! I think that'd set me right over the edge. Because the body normally gains and loses so much daily just by water weight alone, weighing myself that often would be a downer. But, I think that's great that you can do that and…

You can totally do this Moo!! Find out you BMR! http://www.livestrong.com/article/67647-lose-10-pounds-30-days/ If you don't already, is there any way you can incorporate weightlifting, DO IT!! You are a freakin' ROCKSTAR!!!!!

By the way, I totally agree with Postrockandca. If you're going to start weightlifting, take in even more calories. Leave the 2lb and 5lb weights on the rack. Lift heavy and still have great form.

YOU'RE NOT EATING ENOUGH! Sorry for the all caps. But, just wanted to be sure you "heard" me. lol! 1200 calories is extremely low. TOO low. You're body is probably in "starvation mode." Basically meaning, you're burning way more calories than you're taking in. Since muscle burns calories even when you're doing nothing,…

Absolutely agree with Bizco! I read exactly this in my Oxygen magazine. The last 10-15 pounds likes to hang around. I read that your body is actually feeling great and is at a comfortable weight that it's wanting to hang on to it. I've read cutting down sodium a lot and reducing alcohol are key in breaking through. You…

I understand you 1000%. But, the fact you even posted this forum and just let it all out shows you haven't given up. Good for you admitting to yourself what happened and ask for help!!! After working on losing weight for years, I'm finally starting to understand a few things: 1. Moderation is your friend: you crave…

Honestly, I'm not a fan of being called black or african american. I'd much rather be decribed as "The girl wearing the 49ers t-shirt" or something. I'm brown for crying out loud! All this race crap gets on my nerves! When I was in high school and was made to circle my ethnicity, I'd circle "rather not say." I mean, why…
