Dance music or hard rock.... Anything that has a hard beat and hits a section where it's all crazy.... love it... when I run, those 30-60 seconds of a hard house beat or killer guitar rip are when I pick up the pace for my "bursts".... really gotta love hearing music when working out! Motivates like no other!!!

Didn't the person who posted this "rant" specify she dislikes when TOM is made an EXCUSE? If you have severe cramps or have a heavy flow and are keeled over throwing up, then I don't believe you fall into the category of it being an excuse... it's more like an actual reason, que no? Yes... I am honest about what I put on MFP. If not, then how can I go back and see what I've done differently and make changes to eating habits or up my exercise, etc? That's what has worked for me... but everyone is different!

I started RI30 on Monday. Took yesterday off because I was sore! Starting all over! W1/D1, here I come.... Had too many distractions these past few weeks that were completely unforeseen. No excuses, I know... I just have to get used to keeping my exercise regimen on point even when "life" happens! So here we go once again... I'm ready to drop the last 5 I need before Memorial Day!

I'm all for people feeling excited about wanting to show off their progress for fitness, but I just feel like some of it is in bad taste. I guess as long as you feel comfortable with it, then go for it? But in my opinion, if I see the site or mag its in, I just don't look at it.....

I am doing the Ripped in 30 too. I do it at night because I already get up at 5am to get myself and my daughter ready for daycare. I hate the cardio part of it! I've been sick the last two days... I know there are NO excuses, but sometimes your body will just give out on you and you need to rest. So that is what I did. Still don't feel 100% yet, but I'm going to do my W1/D3 of Ripped in 30 tonight - maybe without the weights. And I'll definitely walk to dog tonight too...…
