I find protein drinks make me constipated....anyone else have this problem? I'd like to use them more, but it's not worth it to me to get backed up.

I'm not doing crazy legs...out of town, however, there is a run/walk for the american cancer society on April 13th at warner park. its only like 25 bucks!

so the problem i have is that i can't go to crossfit regularly which slows my progress. I work on some of the exercises at my own gym, but i only get to the box once a week. I still use my scale (even though the numbers aren't moving on it) to just keep me in line, since i won't be making huge muscle gains.

It's not in the DSM-IV or the DSM-V revision, that I know of in the latter anyway. So technically, it's not considered a diagnosis by the community, though it is a commonly thrown around term. Because I work with the courts, I would not use it. I don't bill insurance, but i'm curious how they handle those claims.

Right now, this is not recognized as a mental illness in the field (i'm a psychologist). That being said, call it whatever you want, any sort of calorie restriction/OCD type features around food are dangerous. It's hard to find a balance.

It is hard. I've found it doesn't need to be an explanation. I'm a grown woman, I put in my body what I want to. That being said, I do it about 75% of the time, so it's easier for me to schedule a little wiggle room for dating....i'm on the eternal quest to find balance.

I love this thread. I like that people are seeing changes without being 100% committed. It's been to hard for me to go 100%, but most weeks I'm between 60-80%. I definitely feel better when I'm doing it, it's just some weeks I don't have the time to prep all the meals!

clearly i'm doing something wrong, since i can't seem to lose weight. I think part of it is that i'm only sticking to this about 70 percent of the time....but i still feel like i should be seeing some progress?

I like electrolyte capsules when i'm running, any of the sports drinks make me vomit. If you are planning on running less than an hour, you don't need any fuel during your run.
