I found pants and shorts in my closet that I bought for last summer which were too tight at the time (mistakenly bought the wrong size), but now I can wear them c:

Age: 27 Occupation: Student (Linguistics major) College (alum/current student): University at Buffalo, graduating in the fall! Location: Buffalo, NY Fitness Goals: Lose ≈ 15 pounds and afterwards gain some lean muscle. Really I'm aiming for a 30-31" waist before I go abroad, and then to keep it up after I return.…

Homemade chicken burgers or Greek yogurt. Lachs also rates high on the list, but I have to be in the mood for it.

I'm planning on going to Otakon for the first time this summer. I'm thinking about cosplaying as Matsuoka Rin from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. I already did the spring school uniform, so I'm hoping that I can become swimsuit-worthy by August and wear as little clothing as possible in the (notorious) Baltimore heat and…

Starting Weight: 155 Week 1: 154,7 Week 2: 155,2 I indulged on New Year's eve and the day itself, so I saw this coming. I am very pleased with how small the gain was, though :) Looking to break into new territory next Saturday!

Starting Weight: 155 Current Weight: 154.7 I can't believe I actually lost over the holiday week, wow.

Blue cheese. Heh.

Christmas Eve my family is going to another half of the family's house, so that's mostly covered. I am helping to make a squash apple bake but with sweet potatoes instead as to not offend a couple people's taste buds :) http://southernfood.about.com/od/wintersquashrecipes/r/blbb439.htm The day of Christmas we're making…

Trigun was my first "adult" anime and I adore it to this day. I don't have a preference between the Japanese or English languages even though I grew up on the English on Adult Swim. I found out via Trigun Maximum that a lot of story was left out from the 26 episode anime, but I still love the universe and the characters.

I used to spend a lot of time drawing (10+ years) but now it's like I have no time for it anymore :(

Neither of them are series (and one is a game), but I will not be ashamed to admit that I bawled during Crisis Core and Grave of the Fireflies.

A couple of years ago a nutrition professor from Kansas State lost 27 pounds by eating only Twinkies and a couple other foods that most people would not deem ideal or even moderately healthy. He did it to prove that as long as you stay within your macros, the quality of the calories doesn't matter. If you ate like this for…

I didn't come from the original group, but I'm looking forward to joining in for the second half :)

My hometown of Buffalo, NY is getting 4-8" tonight alone, so somewhere here lol. You can even hop on the thruway and be in Niagara Falls in 30 minutes! It's gorgeous in the winter.

Weight or fitness related, I would like to be at my goal weight by my birthday (1 May), and later that month I'd like to run my half marathon under 2:23 from 2:33 this year.

I've always been a twig and pudgy, so for a guy that's never been desirable. I like that when I go, and have gone consistently (3 times a week), I've seen steady improvement and muscle development over the past 10 months. So I haven't fallen in love with lifting itself, just the results. I actually half-assed my weights…

The only thing I have every day is Silk almond milk and water lol

2500. I went slightly over my goal of 1400 and 700 calories burned with exercise this morning, but all in all, not a horrible day :)

I'm an odd mix of one quarter Polish, one quarter Russian, and half Lebanese.

Exactly this. I'm doing an 8k Turkey Trot in the morning with a friend, and then planning on having dinner with my extended family. I can get mashed potatoes any time of the year, so I'm going to have foods that I can't have otherwise. Like all of the homemade cranberry sauce and hand-kneaded bread :9

I've only given up on foods that I found out were so processed that I couldn't stand to eat them. When I found out that (for example) a tiny cake had 40+ ingredients in it and most of them looked like they came from a chemistry lab, I said no thank you. Everything else (ice cream, peanut butter, chocolate) I just eat in…

I run 4-7 miles four times a week. The other days are weight training for about an hour each time, alternating between chest and arm exercises, and back and shoulders.

I went to the doctor and the scale read 198. No way in hell was I going to weigh 200 lbs, and at the rate I was going I was headed straight for it.

I say honey is better, solely because it's naturally produced. Plus, if you can find raw honey from your region, eating a little year round will actually help you build up resistances to pollen allergies (if you have them). In the spring and summer you have a higher chance of suffering LESS because you're continually…

I'm thinking about 10 pounds of true fat, and hopefully gaining some muscle in that time as well.

I heard people try to give out candy they hate, to reduce the risk of snacking. In my case that means I'm handing out Three Musketeers, Snickers, and Skittles :)

Amazing progress! I hope you celebrated your loss with a few tasty snacks from German Village :)

I'm up for the mini challenge :)

Assuming it was actually for health reasons, yes. Meat (while I only eat fish and chicken) is not important enough to come between living and becoming extremely unhealthy, or dying. I did go entirely vegetarian for a few months many years ago, and it wasn't miserable. I just missed fish, and eventually chicken.
