  • This is sooooooooooo me!!!
  • Saving for later.
  • If you put all of the pieces together, would they be about the size of a deck of cards? If so, I would say 3 ounces and adjust more or less depending on the amount of chicken. That's what I would do.
  • You'll get great support here. If you're not used to logging it'll take time, but once you start, you'll love it. I've noticed that my binges are getting fewer and less calories as they used to be. It also helps to talk about what is causing them. I sent you a FR, so I hope you accept.
  • I saw that one (about counting calories after throwing up) and couldn't believe what I was reading. Craziness, just craziness.
  • I had this conversation with my surgeon in March and after some testing, he said my pouch was fine and all I needed to do was get back to the basics. Whatever your surgeon had you do while you were dropping, do it again. The biggest thing is NO liquids when you eat! Good luck.
  • Feel free to add me because I don't have just a sweet tooth, I have sweet teeth. LOL That has been and probably will always be my weak link. We could all use as much support that we can get, so I'l give as much as I can.
  • It'll be hard getting on here this coming, but I do plan on logging everyday, so I'll keep you posted.
  • I'm new to this as well, so I'm right there with you. I just sent you a request and we'll do this together. :)

  • I agree with Ajweekley, pick something small and in a few days or a week add to that something small with another small item. It will snowball in a good way. There's also a binge eating group, it'll take me a minute to find the link and post it. You should check it out, tons of support there.
  • I do have a humidifier and have raised the temp a couple of times already. The dry mouth is getting better; I woke up without one the other morning, so it's a whole retraining what my body used to do compared to now. I can get a new mask in a couple of months, but the tech didn't recommend the full face mask for me since I…
  • I think I'm doing pretty good. I've had a rough week, death in the family, so I know I'm not sleeping so well with that. I think the machine is working pretty good. I wake up with a really dry mouth every morning, I know my mouth opens when I sleep, so I just need to stop but not sure how.
  • Saving for later. Great list!!!
  • Here is a link to the Binge Eating Group where you can find lots of support instead of fasting. I believe fasting should only be used for religious reasons because fasting isn't about eating. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/726-binge-eating-support-group

  • I had my 2nd test and pick up my CPAP machine yesterday. I think I slept pretty good, I know it was better in my bed, then the test site's bed. I think I;m going to like waking up rested.
  • I have a really stupid question. How do you set 40 30 30 in MFP?

  • I made these this before I found this recipe. LOL Except, I didn't have a spice cake mix, so I used Classic yellow, I didn't use the eggs either, so they are more like muffins instead of cupcakes. Even my picky eating 3 year old likes them. Oh yea, I added a cup of chopped nuts and a scoop of protein powder to give them…

  • I added a scoop of vanilla protein powder to a package of blueberry whole wheat pancakes. I also used milk instead of water and added an egg. I made 25 silver dollar pancakes, so the calories are low and 4 takes care of my pancake craving.
  • Welcome! This is a great place and you will have a ton of support. Just remember to not beat yourself up when you slip. Feel free to add me and I'll give you as much encouragement and support as I can.
  • No matter how you eat or take your body will only absorb so much at a time. My iron had bottomed out fin July of 2011 and now it is back to normal. I had every test under the sun to figure out why, never got an answer. All I did was take an OTC iron with a Vit C every morning and every night. It took a while, but I didn't…
  • I used whole wheat pancake mix, swapped water for milk, added an egg and a scoop of protein powder. Made silver dollar pancakes and a tad of SF syrup. They were low in calories and high in protein, plus it gave me my pancake fix without the guilt. I've tried other recipes, but just couldn't get the right consistency of…
  • I didn't have any cream cheese handy, so I just used some ricotta cheese and added some vanilla extract. Yummy.
  • I'm so with you on this Wingednote.
  • I just had my 2nd sleep study which involved the cpap. I didn't sleep so hot, but I'm not sure if it's the mask, noise, strange bed or what. I should be getting my cpap either at the end of next week or the beginning of the next. I'm excited to try it at home, in my own bed and see if I can finally get a good nights sleep.…
  • I don't think I could come back that easily, in fact, I know I can't. I had a small binge during the week and it's taken me a couple of days to get back on track. So, I full day would just throw me into a terrible spin.
