Set yourself to sedentary if you're also using your fitbit, you're double dipping extra calories burned.

Try eating different kinds of foods that may help keep you feeling fuller. Protein and fat are satiating. Or, try eating more volume so it feels like more food. Double the lettuce in your salad, try cauliflower rice instead of rice, add more eggwhites to your eggs, etc.

If any machine states that you burned 24 calories in 30 minutes, it's broken. Eating back half still stands as the best way to get an idea of how accurate the machines are. Far too many times I see "xxx burned 980 calories in 30 minutes of elliptical" and then they wonder why they can't lose weight.

Why would you think "stylecraze" is a good scientific source? Pro tip: There are no secrets. Just CICO.

Weigh your ingredients and log them. This goes for everything you eat.

Those that choose to be a burden on our healthcare system should be charged more. This does not go for those who are not overweight by choice. This goes for smokers, the obese, and those that refuse a free annual exam. My company already charges more for smokers, and raises premiums $50/month if you don't have proof of a…

You have you keep losing weight (fat). No exercises will help. Tighten up your logging!

Don't trust either! Eat back half of them to start, and if you're still not losing cut that even further. Machines are notoriously inaccurate.

I FINALLY found the birthday cake after looking at Fred Meyer (aka Kroger, only had chocolate, vanilla and lemon cake), Safeway (mint chip, vanilla, chocolate) and QFC (also a Kroger, was out of stock completely). Found it at a New Seasons, bought three, all are gone within a week. Birthday cake is amazing!

I would ask your doctor as you have a medical condition.

Weights weights weights!
-
Weights first, so you can have your strength to lift. But personally, I do it after because I get so sweaty, I don't want to get my mess all over the weight room.

Nooo my advice would be to avoid the running shoes. I did a 15 mile hike last summer and wore my runners, thinking "it's flat, it will be fine"... NOPE. Miserable, 5-6 blisters, blood, could barely finish. I would get some good solid hiking boots with ankle support, and break them in before you go.

Are you female? If so you're definitely not 10%

I don't eat breakfast (I don't feel hungry until afternoon), I don't drink my calories (except alcohol), and I make sure my meals have a good amount of protein and fat. I have found through trial and error that fat keeps me full. Fiddle around with your macros and see what helps you feel most satisfied.

And remember, your body will be smaller, and not require as much energy to function, so you won't require as many calories, and (hopefully) won't be as hungry).

Depends on the dressing. It's hard to put an item with many ingredients into one category. Chicken is a protein, pasta is a carb, but whats chicken parmesan? Lol Side note, try Bolthouse Farms dressings. They're in the refrigerated section, and are a really good swap!

I don't eat breakfast. If I do, I still want the same size lunch/dinner. I'm fine with coffee or tea in the morning.

You eat less or you drink less.

Desk job. I drive straight to the gym after work. Hike on weekends. Try to walk places if I can.

Cut off a leg.

I kind of doubt it because... 20 grams for only 50 calories? That just doesn't exist, even in straight chicken breast and/or the Premier protein shakes that I have which are 30 grams for 160 cals. 6g is likely correct.

Calorie deficit.

You eat less than him. Period. He gets rice with his stir fry, you get whatever amount fits in your calorie goal (even if it's none!) He gets a footlong, you get a 6 inch. Etc etc etc. Learn to cook basic things! Just think a protein, a vegetable side, and a starch. Not everything has to be a complicated recipe. Weekly I…

I am assuming you don't mean zero carb, you mean no bread/pasta/cake etc.? I agree with posters who keep their diets to themselves. There's no reason your coworkers should know the specifics of your diet! You're basically opening the door to what you're experiencing. Disclaimer since I've already been called "nasty" today:…

I tried this- It was super awkward to have a class of 50 people all squatting a million times while you're going slower and heavier. That's what actually pushed me out into the weight room! I haven't done SL but it's so highly touted by people on the forums that I would stick with that!

This.

It's not nasty, and I never said it's NOT a medical condition. My mom is hypothyroid, but thanks. OP clearly stated that her levels are right where they should be. There is no excuse or reason she shouldn't lose weight. That it's frustrating "when we(you) do all the right things" and the scale doesn't move, doesn't change…

30 days won't make a difference if you go immediately back to your original habits. Original eating habits=original weight.
