That's so great to hear! She obviously always had his best interest at heart. It seemed like a real slimeball move of the Shelter to try and get him back once he became famous. I think they wanted the donations to profit them. Not that donations to the shelter would be a bad thing, it just came off as if they cared more…

I remember this story when they covered it on the Today Show. Wasn't there a custody issue once Obie became "Famous"? The Shelter he came from wanted to take him back from the foster mom? Was this issue resolved? Can anyone clarify/update? Thanks!

I think the same things about myself. I think you have to take life one day at a time. Sometimes, one minute at a time. If I was a producer on that show..... they should include examples of exactly what the are "recommending." Telling people to eat low carb, anti-inflammatory food and do anaerobic exercise is all well and good, but I bet 90% of the audience is thinking, what the hell is that? Seems kind of pointless to suggest something…

Once you get to your MILs house, is it possible to sneak away for a bit to go to the cemetery? That way your husband is at his mother's the whole time he wants to be, and you also get time to visit your mom? I can't imagine anyone having a problem with you leaving for a bit. I don't give a crap what people do as far as when they wean. It's a personal decision. But I have to say, that pic was completely tasteless and was taken to shock and stir up controversy. I just hope it doesn't strike fear in future mothers who may have considered breastfeeding.

L2 D1 here. That was freakin awesome. My abs and shoulders were DYING at the end. But....so much more fun than L1. Maybe I was just sick of doing L1 after 10 days? I don't know, but much more interesting. And only 2 sets of Jumping Jacks! YEA! I was REALLY sick of those!

What are you doing instead of snacking? I am sooo guilty of snacking at night. In fact, sometimes I find myself saying, "but I'm so hungry!" And that's how I justify a snack. Grrr. So what do you do to squelch the urge? Drink water? Chew gum? Help!

I was supposed to do the 30DS in April. Ah-hem.....I took way too many days off. Life kept getting in the way. I got up to L2 D3 in one month. Not good. Shame on me. I'd like to retry in May. Please?

Today I am going to walk on the treadmill, instead of doing Day 3. My thighs are SO SORE today. Thank goodness I only have two stairs in my house, because I look like an 80 year old going up/down them. How is everyone else feeling?

(L1D1) Started today! I thought it was hard. But I kept on pushing myself. My arms were really sore after. I am looking forward to tomorrow's workout.

I have 3 kids, ages 4 and under. I have no idea when I am going to exercise, but hand to God, I am gonna do this. I am excited to start tomorrow! I am going to buy a goal bathing suit and take some "Before" pics. I am hoping for the fabulous results that so many other people on MFP have achieved.
