  • Also in my late 20s I've been trying to stay consistent on here for about 2 months now even though I added MFP years ago. My ideal weight is a 70 pound loss, however 40 is what I am aiming for.
  • I'm pretty similar in weight. My goal is 50 but my average weight should be 150 as well. I just got back on track a month ago, I am trying to stay on this path. It can be hard, I think eating right is the hardest part for me.
  • I would love to lose 50 pounds. I just started working out again for the umpteenth time. I'm on my 3rd week of getting back to a healthier lifestyle. I could use some friends on here. Please add me too if you'd like
  • I'm restarting my journey too. I lost weight in the past when I first used it years ago. I stopped eating well and have gained back what I lost and then some :( I can use some friends who are also active and ready to make some positive lifestyle changes.
  • I'm starting again too. After making progress, life happened. I've made so many excuses as to why I can't diet or exercise. I'm ready to get back at it again and could use some motivation from others as well.
  • I like to buy the laughing cow creamy swiss cheese. So yummy, just a wedge smeared on some wheat toast.
  • Thats so inspiring! Congrats
  • I think I'm going to start today, lets see how it goes :)
  • I wish I could say I've been doing great, but the last few weeks I started slacking big times. I have been so preoccupied with school, and taking care of everyone else that I started neglecting myself. As a result I gained some weight. So now I'm on the track to getting back on track. Started insanity and now trying to…
  • Thats really intense, I know you said your staying in the relationship for the kids, but you should know that there are always doors and windows of opportunity.
  • I've had hypothyroidism since I was sixteen years old, possibly had it even earlier. I am now 22 and still treat it daily. When I was 18 I actually had surgery to remove part of the thyroid, I was told they took about the size of a fistfull and a half away. Anyways after the surgery, I became determined on working out, I…
  • I'll add you, mfp is so much better when theres a support group motivating you
  • Thats a great question, usually it's when I see results. There's nothing like feeling beautiful in your own skin. It sounds kind of shallow, but I find myself loving myself more when I see that I'm progressing. It just brings out that happy bubble.
  • I've been told that muscle weighs more than fat, so maybe your getting some muscle in. Also, consider changing your routine, do some other workouts. Even body builders have to change it up after a while because doing the same thing doesn't work after a period of time.
  • Yes i love love love chocolate. I still have it every now and then, it's a bad habit. When I do rule it out and have the cravings, sometimes I'll add a little cocoa or nesquick to my milk and have it that way, it helps. Theres also some healthy alternative cereals by special K, that have some choclate added to the cereal.…
  • This is such a geat discussion topic, unfortunately I don't have much to add for skin care or make up, I hardly use either, because of recent skin problems.that make up would only make worse. So knowing about skin care is def something I'm interested in and look foward to learning more about. I am grateful for any skin…
  • You can do it, seems like you've lost a lot and are well on your way to reaching that bikini bod
in Hi (: Comment by blancaran January 2013
  • Nice to meet you too!
  • Thank you! I am 5'5 and want to go from the 180's down to 150. I looked skinny just being 173, so think 150 is ideal. Plus for my height this puts me into being average weight and out of being considered obese or overweight. If I ever reach my goal and keep on going I think 130 would be perfect. However for now 150 is my…
  • I think I weigh around the same, really hope you reach your goal this year :)
  • I weighed 230 pounds after I had the little one, I havnt weighed myself in awhile, but the last time I checked I was in the 180's. I've had my ups and downs with gaining and losing weight since then, but lately I've been feeling pretty good about myself and I'm so ready to lose the muffin top
  • Sounds like a fantastic group already, how exciting! Look foward to sharing feedback with everyone
  • My name is Blanca I've lost 12 pounds and have a goal of losing 50. Everyday is a challenge, so I don't mind support or giving anyone "you're doing awesome!
  • I think I'd like a face peircing if i was going to do something drastic
  • I've found that this app really works if you stick to it. If you really want to make a life style change you need to commit, It's hard but doable, my grandmother guilts me into eating food as well, maybe you should try and explain that you can't eat the things she has because of your diet. it might hurt her feelings, but…

  • From my knowledge theirs diffrent ways of intermittent fasting, i believe some people fast for a whole day even. My brother showed me his method of fasting from 8pm to 12 pm. Not sure if it's working but I've been doing it for about a month now. It really just closes that window of eating time and with my keeping track of…
  • Good Luck! You can do it, just keep at it
  • Hello, Ive had this app for awhile but only till this month have i really been keeping up with it, and i have to say its been great wish i would of done it sooner. I don't have any friends yet on here, but I don't mind encouraging others and don't mind if anyone does the same for me.
