  • Didn´t work on us either, 4 healthy children and meat eaters. :drinker: Waste of money for the study.

  • Congratulations, that is fantastic!
  • Yes, better go with the shorter distance. It is a pity that some apps measure so incorrectly. That is the reason why I don´t use endomondo anymore. Calorieburn there is just fantasy. Distance the same. I use Caledos runner for runkeeper and it seems to be quite accurate on distance and my HRM for the burn. You are doing…

  • Anne and Varda, you are both doing fantastic. I can just dream of doing 6miles as my long run. But I will get there, I am sure about this. Great for signing in for a 10k and good luck with it. Nerves is part of the game I guess and help you not to give up along the way.

  • There is a good chance that your belly will look a lot better. But stop looking at other peoples pics because every body has its own history. I have 4 kids, a set of twins to start with and I can tell you that my belly looked way worse than your picture. Is is still soft and I see the stretchmarks and I have no belly…
  • Oh thank you for you help!!!!!:flowerforyou: I will sure find something there for the autumn, a goal to work towards.
  • Congratulations, that is amazing! And the time sounds great to me too. Well done! Fun you did it with your daughters. So what IS next?
  • I am a cold weather runner too! Sunshine today and I ran along the fields, not good for me! I will have to find me a running route in the woods during summertime.

  • http://www.naprapathy.org/Home.html You can check out the site and see if you can find someone near you. It doesn´t have to be with acupuncture. Good luck!
  • Chiropractic is one option. I can also recommend a naprapat treatment where they stretch you out slowly. I had it done twice, it is a bit more gentle and brings fantastic results. Often it is combined with acupuncture. But only if you can have the slow stretching, some people get nauseous from it. *edited for spelling…
  • That was an excellent training, congrats on your achievements. You are my good example, I have to find a 10k here soon to stay motivated.

  • Can you have it checked? The best thing would be to know for sure so you can do something against it. Maybe it is just an orthopedic issue that could be solved with other shoes, insoles or a bandage? Strange you had it before your running. Hope it gets better soon!
  • That looks so awesome! I would love to run there. Or at least to travel there once. I just wonder how high the temperatures would be out under the sun no shadow.
  • Welcome Anna418, so good to see new runners coming over from C25K and continuing the running journey. I am looking forward to read your posts. I didn´t run yesterday, I did a 12k walk instead. I liked it a lot.

  • Friends of mine and I are thinking about walking the London Shine half Marathon the 28th of September. ( http://shine.cancerresearchuk.org/on-the-night) But we have to plan it quickly. Other than that my next runs are planned for next year, Helsingborg Springtime 5k and Helsingborg Marathon the Marathon Relay with a…

  • I could have written exactly that!
  • To the actual topic: Yes, I get sad. Sometimes it is the weather but most of the time it is my life, appointment after appointment, errands, now end of school year hurry with everything. No time to run and shower. On those days I try to add a small run in the evening just to feel good.
  • Oh she did, how fantastic! How did she like it?
  • Wow, that is amazing. You are doing fantastic. Good luck with your training for 10k!
  • Good job! And great you are in this group too. Are you planning any other races in the near future? After some really hot days it is chilly and rainy today. I hope the rain will stop so I can do day 3. Haven´t really followed the program for 2 weeks so I guess it will be hard.

  • I´ve been stuck with my weight for month too and I finished C25K and started bridge to 10k. No weightloss but I got really nice muscles at my legs and I feel amzing. Just the weight doesn´t move. I don´t want to discourage you, maybe don´t focus on the weightloss. Just stick with the program, it has so many other benefits…
  • Great decision to start over again. Week 5 seems to be scary for everyone. It is a mindgame but this time you can do it. Just tell this voice in your head to stop talking. Good luck with it and let us know how it went. You can definitely do it and you will feel amazing once you passed this week.
  • This is a very good advice! Otherwise you lose your focus easily. Set a new goal in time. Bridge to 10k is a good program.
  • Congratulations on your 2nd 5k and on improving your time. That is awesome. Now take some time to get healthy again.

  • Maybe that is a silly question but what is a "virtual" 10k? 1:12:14 is an awesome time for 10k!!!!

  • Congratulations, very well done. You can be very proud of yourself. What are your next plans?
  • I have a neutral foot so no problems there. I have an Asics Gel-virage and a lighter Nike air+ now. But as I am running on gravel, soil or stones I mostly wear the asics shoe. The stones get stuck in the sole of the Nike air plus. And I have thorlo running socks which was the best buy, they are so nicely padded and make…
