  • I set my goal to 7,000 then wore it for a week while just living my normal routine. When I started going back to gym I upped it to 10,000. When you are active but stationary it can be hard to meet your steps goal.
  • Beer or cereal...must I pick just one!!
  • Wow I use food as a reward when I reach a big goal. But you quoting your nutritionist really makes me rethink my mind frame around food as a treat.
  • I am a guilty stress eater. If there is something bothering me whether I can control it or not I get to snacking. All my goals go out the window and the cravings take over.
  • I dont think it was the dogs that got him it was all the puppy breath haha
  • Try planking or lay on your back and put hands behind head like a sit up but only go halfway up. It works your abs like a full sit up bacause you are using only your abs not your thighs.
  • Do dips of a steady chair start out with small reps of 5-8 and increase with strenght. This should help build arm muscle and tighten up the back of your arms. I could barely do 13 pushups but since I have started doing dips I can now do 42. Good luck and keep trying.
  • I have the same issues the rest of my body is toning up but my arms are flabby. I have started dips, and get on you knees and use a dumbell and one arm at a time bring your arm back behind you and tighten you tricep. That should help tighten up what I call my arm pillows. Plus whe your arms are more toned it makes your…
  • The just dance 2 is awesome. It has different levels and a variety of music. I have never done zumba at home but have have went to a few classes. It is fun and a great workout, but it is a fast pace and is something you have to do a few times to pick up the moves if you want to keep up and not be lost.
  • I was the same way. I was driving myself crazy!!! The weight changes had me distracted and stressing which can lead to weight gain. I picked fridays a my day to weigh in and have been doing great for the last few weeks. Stop stressing your weight and just let it happen. You may not loose pounds but you may loose inches and…
  • Im 5'3 36 bust 27.5 waist 45 hips it's all in the booty lol I want to tone more than anything. Trim my arms and get rid of those love handles. I would like to lift get my waist to 26 and my but to 42. But being in better physical condition is more important to me.
  • It does not happen over night but if you do not consume enough calories your body will try and store what calorie you do take in. If you continuously keep your calories to low you will loose weight but your body will be missing out on important nutrients. Also you will always have to maintain a very low calorie diet. If…
  • Eating health food means you have to eat more. Try to eat small snacks in between meals. I had the same problem of not eating over 1,000 calories when trying. I now eat a snack when I first wake up and then breakfast about an hour or two after and have health snack before bed. Eating 300 calories of ice cream may seem low…
  • When I started getting into shape I had the same problem. You are building muscle you just have to balance cardio with strength building. Like if you are doing weights start with a lighter weight and do many reps then go to a heavier weight to build strength. When running or biking slower longer sessions will burn calories…
  • That is great keep up the great work. I am starting at the same spot 165 and want to tone my belly, arms and love handles. I stomach 29 hip at 46. Bigg booty lol. What workout are you doing I run alot and do some hip exercises but cannot seem to get them to shrink.
  • Try shopping inthe misses not the teens, Teens sizes run small and misses will sit better on you give you more confident. I am a "thick" female with big hips and a bigger butt, small waist and until recently my arms were not that big. My 3 sisters are very skinny maybe a 5 on a bad day. When we were younger we would do the…
  • That is great. When I started running I was also am over thinker and my mind would get to me. Find a way to distract yourself there is music, playing a song that keeps you at a steady pace will always help. I always just mentally try to check out and just go for it. Great job and keep running most people cannot run a mile…
