True, Guinness is better for an at-home drink bc the 12 oz bottles are 125 calories!

i am not a big fan... but the amy's brand tends to have some pretty good tasting ones! i like those as microwave meals, but they are a bit on the pricey side

start weight: probably over 230 but the highest I remember seeing on a scale was 226. current weight: 151.2~! goal weight: for now to get below 150.... i have been in the 50's since june! but longer term to 140 (putting me at a "healthy" bmi). from there I'd like to go to 135 so I have a bit of buffer room to stay within…

i do, because it helps me stay accountable and also realize that i can and do get back on track after a bad week (or two.... or three...)

oh i see! thanks all who pointed it out! damn my skimming reading
-
i'm confused on the last one... how can one teaspoon be 10 calories but two teaspoons be 50, more than quadrupling the calorie amount?
-
thanks guys! no tortillas! i like mole sauce, does anyone know how that tends to fare?

i'm 5'3", my goal is to be able to maintain between 125-130. I have never been below the weight i am now though (156~), so who knows what i'll like when i'm in the healthy range?!

NOOOOO SOMEONE GOT IT BEFORE ME!!!! oh well, i'm not too good at keeping up with groups anyhow. have fun!! not to derail the topic, but i love this show and can't wait to read the books!

i do the brushing teeth thing... it works for me!! for example, i was done with my calories last night and i brushed my teeth before heading to my boyfriend's house... he pulled out some chips that i otherwise would have joined in with but i didn't because of my clean teeth! i also make sure to fill up on water.

maybe change your activity level to light or moderate depending on how many hours a week you work? that should adjust your total calorie allotment for the day so you don't have to manually add it.
-
personally, i do my weight training first and then use the elliptical for around a half hour all at once with varying intensity. i've heard some people doing 5-10 minute intervals of cardio and strength training, so maybe if you want to get some strength training in you can do it during your breaks?

125 is healthy for a 5'2" woman! it puts you at a BMI of 22.9, right in the healthy range. of course being healthy depends on more than just BMI, it depends on what you eat and your activity level (which in my opinion are more important than a number on the scale), but that is a good goal, and see what your body likes as…

i definitely agree with taso! but i record gains anyway, because it helps me keep accountable. usually it goes down and is a TINY gain + a big water retention gain but it reminds me 1) to not eat poorly 2) to drink hella water and 3) not to obsess over gains! as long as you keep the good fight they all go back down…

oh man that is incredible! i love seeing this, we are the same height and starting weight, and i have a similar goal weight!! such motivation :D

i'm in college and i lost all my 63 lbs to date during this time. though i graduate soon :) if your college has a gym with membership covered by mandatory fees, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!! mine does, and i only started using it regularly halfway through my junior year. GOD i wish i would have started earlier, especially when i…

sorry to revive a dead thread, but i just want to mention... i just bought the honey greek yogurt. and OMG it is better than ice cream!!!

what i do is stick to my calorie limit (always eating my exercise calories unless i truly don't feel hungry), and then once in a while i will allow myself to go to maintenance calories. my boyfriend brought food back from his mom's, so that day may be today!

i'm looking forward to buying clothes i can invest in. i usually end up filtering my clothes choice just by what i can fit into. i noticed that when i was bigger i tended to only buy cheap clothes, not only because, well i have rarely had a steady income, but also because i always had in the back of my mind that they were…

i ended up getting the mixed nuts because i couldn't choose, AND they were on sale, making them the cheapest!! :D

i want to try this! what sort of things do people hide?? fun :D

would we be mailing the stuff?

oh i didn't realize it was a local brand! i love things native to western washington <33 anyway, I usually get the full fat version and only eat 1/2 a cup at a time. i usually don't go over my fat for the day anyhow, and it helps keep you full. it also helps the flavor a lot i think, though i haven't tried the reduced fat.…

i buy the Zoi brand, i like it pretty much a lot :)

i love a man's tummy ^^ my boyfriend's is perfect, it's not big or anything, but a little flabby. it's warm and soft and fuzzy and the best place to lay my head when i'm tired :)

i found more that once i got out of high school and knew more of what i wanted i had a better love life. not so much that it correlates with once i started losing weight. i found my current boyfriend partway through this weight loss, but at my highest i had a decently happy long term relationship. though it was after that…
