  • Time to get my *kitten* in gear!!! Some fat is coming off, but the belly is still there and the time for cardio is NOW!
  • Awesome responses from all those people that can share and support others!!!!
  • I turned 50 this year and having such a hard time!!! I broke 2 ribs teaching snowboarding almost 2 years ago and the fat is creeping on and not going anywhere. I have the folder on my backside and my belly has a bit of a fold. I hate it! My husband is so good about it but it's difficult to get out and workout after…
  • OMG! I am sure we will all keep you busy:flowerforyou: I broke a couple of ribs over a year ago and it really slowed me down. I didn't snowboard at all this past season and as I jump into some training DVDs I realize similar moves. I turned 50 recently and have found it really difficult to drop the 25 lbs. I started…
  • I have been reading about gluteen free foods. Sometimes I don't eat any pasta or breads, but it goes in phases.
  • I replied to you yesterday. I stepped on scaled today and gained everything back plus a few pounds. I have been getting sick and sore, but I am not going to give up. I am wiping the tears from eyes and getting back in the game:)
  • All the words these people are posting are well said. There are some of us that can't stand our jobs (for whatever reason) and need that break to regroup. I gave up for a bit because of not feeling well and will pick up and try again. You have an amazing life with a new child and soon you will have more time to look at…
  • I think I will have to do a long lunch and work late so I can see this!:blushing:
  • You both look awesome!!!! I get bummed when I don't see the weight decrease, but then my husband reminds me that "muscle is heavier," and I breath again:) Even when I don't feel well (which has been alot lately) I try to do Plank and some simple movements to stay loose. Job well done you two:flowerforyou:

  • We did this the other day for about 15 minutes. Worked on doing body twists, making sure you raise your legs to tuck, just having fun and being safe. I did this with another person on at the same time, it was a larger trampoline, and it's at my inlaws house. Weekend workout for me.
  • I do the Greek yogurt with museli added, Fiber One bars, cheese, apples with peanut butter, and I do sneek in some dark chocolates. I limit my soda intake, but every once in a while my body craves it:drinker:
  • You look great !
  • Will be 50 next month and need a group to stay in touch with to help me along the way. I have been doing this almost 2 weeks and got sick. I have lost weight better through this than weight loss progam I paid to join. I need to stick to my work outs. Cardio every day with walking and more intense workout every other day…
  • Absolutely agree! I started out with the single songs at low intensity and worked my way up to a comfort zone. It doesn't feel like exercise until I hit the steps the following morning!
  • I have been doing this for 10 days and hit a point where I ate alot yesterday and just felt blah if I wasn't eating. Totally agree with alot of your encouraging responses...not eating enough, and getting back into the swing of things. Personallly, at the end of my day, I can sit on the couch and just veg out after my…
  • I will be 50 in May. Broke a couple or ribs a year ago when I was doing instructional training for snowboarding. I have taught for 5 years. I have always been active, but it has gotten harder to lose weight. Any positive re-inforcement is welcome!
  • Add me if you would like. I just got started:)
  • I subcribe to Health and Prevention magazine online and have found some wonderful yoga workouts! I get board easily so I like to change things up. I started a binder where I place the magazine pages or printouts based on area of the body. I then select pages of what I want to work on. The yoga has helped my breathing,…
