I am in, with one exception -- Mother's Day. My family has been very supportive of my keto diet, but I'm afraid I will never convince my autistic daughter that special occasions do not require CAKE >:)

I'm in for 30 miles this month 4/2 -- 2.35 miles

Yes, you're body burns calories every minute of every day, so that is at least part of the equation. As for the rest... How were you tracking your calorie burn before you got the band? Are you doing the exact same workout now (same weights, same "cardio") as before? Using heavier weights, or doing a different type of…

"what's hard" is that she has strong cravings which she struggles to control. Did you even READ the original post?

First, no excuses. Get your *kitten* out of bed and work out first thing so you don't put it off/ talk yourself out of it. Next, realize that ANY workout is better than NO workout. Even if you're sick or dealing with an injury, you can still do some yoga or other low resistance work. Finally, try different things until you…

1/4- no shoes 1/5- barefoot treadmill 1.5 1/6- barefoot treadmill 1.7 =3.2 1/7- 2.15 =5.35 Still on the treadmill as I cannot run in the cold -- my lungs cannot take it, no matter how much I try to condition myself. Much more comfortable with shoes though

Off to a slow start due to my running shoes being MIA, and snowstorms keeping my from getting new ones. Found this challenge on 1/3: 1/4- no shoes 1/5- barefoot treadmill 1.5 1/6- barefoot treadmill 1.7 Sun is finally shining and I'm headed to the mall for new shoes now...

Figure out how much you're making, then divide by the number of servings

Kitten???? That's the best substitute you could come up with, MFP? Lmao!

I'm a little late to post my goal, but I'm hoping to hit 30 miles this month. Just starting running again... working towards my first 10K this summer
-
My main goal for this year is to lose 35lbs by October 1st. My resolutions to get there: Get and STAY low carb (I'm extremely carb sensitive, and the holidays did me in!) Heavy lifting 2-3x/week Start - and finish - 10K trainer HAVE FUN doing all of the above, without obsessing!

Setting a goal of 62 miles for January. Recovering from pneumonia, so it'll mostly be walking until I can breathe freely again. Sitting on my bottom certainly won't help!

this is true-- for SOME people. not everyone is carb sensitive, and not everyone who is carb sensitive reacts to the same carbs. also, there are breads that are not made with wheat flour. but also, to a certain extent, eating foods in their whole form will in fact burn more calories. the more your body has to process, the…

Absolutely! Keep with it, and you will soon be feeling great. And as others have said, it could also be the heat. I've been getting terrible headaches this summer, and I'm not usually prone to getting them.

all of the above, and also EXERCISE! it is great for controlling appetite, and elevates mood, thereby reducing the urge to binge. plus it will, of course, help with the weight loss which will make you feel better about yourself...

There's quite a bit of history and night life in Key West!! I've been to both, and they are entirely different experiences. One thing to consider is safety. I've never felt the least bit insecure walking in KW at any time of the day or night. In NOLA, we had the police stop us while walking down the street in broad…

[/quote] What routine were you using *before* you started NROLFW? You need to increase the weights progressively in order to make progress. I walk up 6 floors' worth of stairs without getting winded now that I do squats. That should be one of the outcomes if you do anaerobic training. If you haven't seen any progress, I…
