Usually, mexican rice is made by stirring the uncooked rice in oil (or lard), then adding the tomato sauce and water or broth to it. I stay away from the rice. I lose very slowly. Usually 1 lb or less a week. But don't give up. I stopped tracking for a while and the weight crept back up. So I'm in it now until I reach goal. 10 lbs in a month is great, but you will slow down after that. You didn't gain it in a day, you won't lose it in a day.

Good for you!!! Keep up the good work! I have a pair that I bought when I was heavier. They are not like regular jeans, more like a trouser jean. They were kind of pricey and need to be altered, but I'm waiting til I get to goal. It will be my reward.

Sound advice from everyone. Whatever you do, don't give up. Everyone has set backs. Goodness knows I've seen my share of them. But you cannot give up. It's about getting healthy and staying that way. When you start to see the scale go down, it will motivate you even more to stick with it.

WW is how I lost my weight. I did it strictly online, then did not renew my subscription. That is when I found MFP. Even though I'm not tracking points, I'm tracking what I eat and my exercise. When I don't track, I start to gain.

What kind of work do you do? I sit at a desk most of the day. I try to get my exercise in first thing in the AM. I did better on the treadmill today than I did yesterday. Some days are harder than others.

Morning all! I'm good for the water challenge to begin with. I change my WI day to Friday, so today I'm down 4 lbs from when I restarted MFP on 2/8! Yippee!!!

Do a stand up picture, kinda like on Biggest Loser, showing how much smaller you are, dropping the clothes revealing your new size in new clothes. You can especially see the loss in your face! You look great!

If you plan on using it quite a bit, you need to consider the motor. I bought mine years ago and paid about $1400 for it, but it has lasted all this time. I didn't get one with all the bells and whistles either. Just a basic with speed, calories, elevation. I would look up some reviews online before I purchase one.

Morning ladies! Good luck to the ones with WI today. I weigh in on Monday, but I may change as I usually don't do very well on the weekends. I used to WI on Fridays and I think I'm going to switch back to that. I'm still down on the scale today. Hoping just to keep off what I've lost since starting back.
